I’ve been a devoted dog owner and animal lover for many years. My dog, Chase, was diagnosed with cancer at age 11, and I cared from him through the very end of his journey until he passed away at 12. Caring for him taught me patience, compassion, attention to detail, and the importance of treating every pet like family. In addition to caring for Chase, I’ve pet sat for family and friends for years, with many dogs staying in my home for two weeks or more at a time. I understand that every pet has unique routines, personalities and needs, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone. On the occasional errand or appointment, I use pet cameras to keep an eye on them and ensure they’re safe and comfortable.
