Pet care experience
Pet people are the best people!
I have been an animal lover my whole life, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have been volunteering at a local animal shelter for the past 6 months doing dog walking and socialization, and I have been trained in how to handle dogs with anxiety and aggressive dogs. I am also certified through Red Cross in cat and dog first aid. As an animal shelter volunteer I have gained valuable experience with dogs from all walks of life and new furry friends. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years, and when I moved to Redding for ministry school, pet sitting was part of how I helped support myself through school. I had 4 dogs growing up, the last of which was a family dog we had for 11 years (black standard poodle).

Great first time experience using Rover Courtney was amazing. I felt extremely comfortable after our meet and greet. It made it very clear in our communications. Courtney gave me regular updates and cared for my pet like my Honeybun was her own. I will definitely be using her again
Courtney was great with our two pups. She kept us informed on their daily walks and how they were doing. Highly recommend!
Courtney filled her overnight stay with Xena and Lexy with walks and play and attention. We came home to two happy dogs. We’ll definitely ask her again in future.

Schedule
I work 2 part time jobs throughout the week, and my schedule is such that I am looking to walk dogs, do house sitting, drop-ins, baths, etc.

Safety, trust & environment
My condominium and apartment complex is pet friendly, but the apartment I rent out is not. I’m able to walk pets around the neighborhood but I’m not able to do boarding at this time.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to a nearby park to play catch, to get a pup cup at a coffee shop, or a dog park if they like going to those.
