I work full-time, but my schedule is similar to shift work. I have open mornings and the occasional free weekend! Pet care is something I enjoy, gets me outside, and is a little bit of exercise all at once. I’m organized, dependable, and committed to making sure pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening feedings, I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide updates (and lots of pictures!) so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.

My goal is for the pets to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. That means sticking to their routine, staying in familiar environments, and being aware of the surrounding stressors. I am great at following clear instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, litter box care, and any special routines their pets are used to. I also keep homes clean and tidy, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I can provide services at the client's home; I don't have boarding facilities.
Information Courtney C. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to do a meet and greet before any solo time I spend with the pets!I appreciate owners sharing any important details that will help me provide the best and safest care possible for their pet. This includes feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, allergies, favorite activities, behavioral quirks, and anything that helps their pet feel comfortable, stress-free, and keeps both of us safe! It is very helpful to know how pets typically interact with other animals and people, whether they have any anxieties or triggers, and any house rules or commands they are familiar with. I also appreciate clear instructions for home access, emergency contacts, veterinarian information, and any special care needs.
A typical day
During drop-in visits and walks, I love making sure pets stay active, happy, and comfortable based on their personality and energy level. For dogs, this can include neighborhood walks, playtime with toys, fetch, potty breaks, lots of affection, and helping them burn off energy while staying safe and engaged. I’m happy to adjust activities depending on whether your dog prefers long walks and play or a slower, more relaxed pace. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys, giving treats, brushing if they enjoy it, cleaning litter boxes, feeding, and spending calm quality time with them so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I always pay attention to each pet’s routine and comfort level to make sure they receive personalized care, attention, and plenty of love.

Loving Care for Every Pup!
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I recently graduated from college and moved to the city, and I’m excited to continue spending time with animals through dog walking and pet sitting. Over the years, I’ve pet sat and walked dogs for neighbors, friends, and family members, giving me experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. My family has Dane Mastiffs, so I’m very comfortable handling large breeds, but I also adore small dogs like my aunt’s two mini dachshunds. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important routines, exercise, patience, and affection are for dogs, and I’ll always treat your pet like part of the family. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands!

Reviews
Our rescued dog, Penny, is very challenging. She is strong-willed, mouthy, and unstable Staffordshire Terrier. Courtney is the only person we trust to care for her. When Penny spots Courtney she melts into a sweet, loving, approachable canine. Courtney is dependable, prompt, and trustworthy. She has access to our home. We never worry about Penny when we're away and leave her in Courtney's care. We have had Boxers, Labs, and small mixed breeds over the years and Courtney has helped care for all of them.
I have a 60lb Pittbull lab mix and Courtney is so awesome with her! She is sassy and can be stubborn and anxious when we (her owners) are not around and Courtney ensures her time with her is enjoyable! I cannot recommend Courtney enough she treats my pup like she is her own. You can truly see she cares about your pets. Courtney pays attention to detail with her feeding schedule if we need her to do so. She is also very professional! I cannot recommend Courtney enough!
