I have 6 pets of my own, 4 dogs and 2 cats. All of them have different needs as my two oldest dogs are 10 and require certain "senior care" like a specific diet, appointments, and preventatives. One of my two cats has a auto immune disorder that requires medical attention daily. And my two youngest dogs are not only companions but also athletes and my teammates. they require a specific diet, routine appointments, and things like chiropractor and massages to keep them in the best shape possible. All of my pets training whether its tricks, obedience, or sport related has been done solely by me. I spend most of my time and money making sure they live the best lives possible.

I like to "screen" prior to a boarding (or any services). This generally includes initial questions and a meet and greet. All of my pets are people and dog friendly or neutral as well as up to date on ALL vaccines including rabies, parvo/distemper, and bordetella. We expect the same things for animals coming to stay with me. So the initial screening helps make sure that we are the perfect fit for your pet(s). I have a fully fenced in backyard that pets get to enjoy. I also go on walks daily so if your pet would prefer that, just let me know! Even the most trained animals can be unpredictable. I make sure that supervision is key when animals are playing, eating, or just out and about. My two cats are strictly indoor. So we are also very cautious when it comes to opening the door(s) to ensure their safety. Any specific rules you have for your pets? Just let me know and we will make sure they follow them at my home too! No specific rules? That is also totally okay! I want your pets to feel like they are at a " home away from home".

Again, I would like to know that all pets staying with me are able to be friendly or neutral with all people and pets living in my home. As well as being UTD ON ALL VACCINES. I need to make sure my pets are also safe. Let me know if you pets are NOT spayed/neutered. Make me aware of any medical conditions that may require attention. As well as any rules you want them to follow. I like to make sure that not only your pets are comfortable with staying with us, but also YOU are comfortable and at ease.

My day always starts with a morning walk with my dogs. This is able to wake me up and start their day off on the right foot. I make sure they all get fed and that my cat Miami gets her medicine. Depending on the day, I may be in office. If that is the case, Alex always gets their dogs their exercise. My two younger girls love playing frisbee and just fetch in general. I also have lots of agility equipment set up in the backyard. Whether its Alex or myself, we probably spend 2+ hours a day just playing outside. My two older girls are not big on toys but enjoy their daily walks. They get multiple potty breaks during the workday because one of us is always home. They also get lots of mental simulations. I have a bunch of puzzle toys, sniffle mats, chews, and interactive toys for pets to play with when they aren't outside. My cats enjoy sunbathing in their window seats and watching the birds from their cat tree. Our day usually ends in another walk and some more outside play. You may think I am exaggerating but having 2 border collies is not for the weak. They require LOTS of physical and mental stimulation. They all get fed once more, and Miami gets her medicine again. Litter boxes are cleaned 1-2 times a day. Always at night and I try to get a cleaning in the morning.

I have had a dog sitting business going for 8+ years. I actually started when I was 14 and it was my first "job". I have lots of clients outside of Rover as well! My partner, Alex, also helps with all of this. He works completely remote so someone will be home with both mine and your fur-babies at pretty much all times. I work a hybrid position that allows me to have a lot of time at home too! I compete in dog sports (like agility, disc, dock diving, etc.) with my two youngest dogs. I did the same with my two oldest but retired them about 4 years ago. All of my pets training has been done by myself. I have a vast knowledge on dog behavior and training, senior care, and administering meds. We can also discuss board and train options if that is something you are interested in!

Courtney took great care of Roxie. She fit right in with all the other animals and seems to have a great time!
Bo had a great time with Courtney! She was very responsive and reached out each day with an update. We enjoyed the few pictures that we got!
Another fun stay with Courtney for Maddie! Just a long weekend this time but enjoyable for us because we knew Maddie was in good hands.
My little Maddie has so much fun when she stays with Courtney! I feel secure knowing that she is being well taken care of when I have to be away.
