I’ve been pet sitting for about 12 years in addition to caring for my own pets. I have a calming and grounded presence and I love going for long walks. I am patient and attentive and can see what animals need physically and emotionally when they are missing their parents. My clients trust that their beloveds are well taken care of when they leave them with me.

Although my home is not currently available for hosting pets, I am able to do drop-ins, walks or stay in your home with your critters. I will stick to their routine as much as my schedule allows and make sure things are comfortable and familiar for them.

Courtney Cross is indeed a responsible and loving pet caregiver, as demonstrated by the numerous times we have hired and rehired her to housesit our dog and two cats. It's obvious she loves animals, and has been a devoted dog owner herself in the past. Initially we left Courtney a detailed list of what to do for our pets and evidently she did everything we asked. Last time she pet sat she didn't need those instructions. She puts the pets highest on her list as evidenced by, for example, the case where she had to locate a cat that was inadvertently locked (by us in our departure flurry) in the attic; in another case she worked hard to clean a dog bed the cats had marked; she has even gone to the store for dog and cat food when they've run out. On returning from our trips the house was always immaculate and the pets were happy. Next time she showed up they seemed happy to see her. That's just about all we expect from a pet caregiver isn't it?

I am working part time and mostly from home and on my own schedule, so I have plenty of time and flexibility for your pets’ needs.
