Availability

I am a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be home throughout the day with the pets in my care. I'm able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of attention. We also have a fully fenced backyard with a dog run for safe outdoor time. If your dog enjoys being active, I'm happy to take them on walks or to the dog park about a mile from my house for some extra exercise and fun.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or yours, I'll follow their routine, provide plenty of attention, make sure they get exercise and playtime, and keep a close eye on their well being. I believe trust is earned, so I treat every pet and every home with the same care and respect that I would want for my own family. And yes, there will probably be a few extra treats and belly rubs along the way. 🙂

Information Courtney B. would like to know about your pet

I like to learn as much as possible about a pet’s routine, personality, and needs before their stay. It’s helpful to know their feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, any medications they take, and how they interact with other animals, children, and new people. I also like to know about any fears, anxieties, triggers, or behaviors I should be aware of so I can help them feel comfortable and safe. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make their time away from home a positive experience.

A typical day

Describe a typical day and routine with the pets you care for. Every pet is different, so I try to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. A typical day includes potty breaks throughout the day, meals on their regular schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. Dogs staying with us can spend time relaxing inside with the family, playing in our fully fenced backyard, or going on walks around the neighborhood. If they’re social and enjoy it, I can also take them to the nearby dog park for some extra exercise and fun. Because I’m home during the day, pets get lots of companionship and aren’t left alone for long periods.

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Courtney. I've had dogs my entire life and know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. My home is a safe, loving environment where dogs receive plenty of attention, supervision, and affection. I am home during the day, so your dog won't be left alone for long periods. We have a fully fenced backyard with a dog run where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy being outside. I share my home with two senior dogs, June and Rose. June is a 16-year-old Whippet mix, and Rose is a 13-year-old Dachshund-Beagle mix. Both are friendly, gentle, and still enjoy playtime and making new friends. I also have two children, ages 6 and 8, who have grown up with dogs and understand how to be kind and respectful around animals. Over the years, I've cared for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have experience caring for senior dogs and administering medications when needed. Whether your dog loves walks, playing in the yard, or curling up for a nap, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your dog.
