Active Dog Care for High Energy Dog
I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently have a 3-year-old Border Collie, so high-energy dogs are very much my thing. We hike every day, and I’m comfortable keeping up with dogs who need real exercise and stimulation—not just a quick lap around the block.

I keep things simple and follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’m comfortable with everything from walks and daily hikes to feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and downtime. When caring for a dog in their home, I follow your instructions and their established routine rather than disrupting it. I’m respectful of your space, attentive to your dog, and consistent about keeping them exercised, comfortable, and safe while you’re away. For active dogs, getting outside is a big part of my routine—I hike with my own dog every day, so I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need a ton of exercise and stimulation.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible outside of work, so pet care fits easily into my routine. I’m typically off one weekend day and one weekday, and I’m usually finished with work by 5 PM. I also have very few competing commitments, so I’m able to be flexible and dependable with the dogs in my care. I hike with my own dog every day, so getting outside and keeping dogs active is already a regular part of my life. I’m happy to build walks, hikes, drop-ins, or other care around each dog’s routine and needs.
