We both work from home and have a VERY flexible schedule. We take the pup’s lead on what they need throughout the day and address potty breaks and snacks as needed.

I have a fenced yard, sealed tight. Grass in the backyard and outside furniture for sunbathing. Inside, we have doggie beds, toys and spaces to nap on furniture or in front of the fire. My lap while working from home is available, too. Have a crate? We will make space.

We have two (2) poodle mixes, if your pup is happy sharing humans and space, this pampered home is the right place for you! We would like to know about meal times, how much per meal and anything that helps your dog live his best life while you are away (we have a frequent doggy guest that likes ice in his water). Any triggers during walks? Any issues with objects (my dog is afraid of flip flops for example). We want you to have a great vacation knowing your dog is feeling at home.
A typical day
We wake up, have a potty break outside, have a snack if hungry. If it is cold outside, we cuddle by the fire... if it is sunny we get some sun in our backyard. When everyone has stretched and ready, it is time for a morning walk. The late morning and afternoon consists of lounging by the fire in a squishy bed or perching on the couch to watch the neighborhood squirrels play. There is a doggie door to the outside so dogs are able to go outside anytime they want. I work from home so scritchies or belly rubs are aplenty. There are two poodle hosts that love to tussel and play... they are very good at sharing their many beds and chew toys. Need snacks? We have 'em! At night we have a fresh meal and more cuddles by the fire. We also are happy to escort out for a quick potty break before we cuddle in for bed. We have beds in our bedroom, and room at the end of our bed for our doggie friends.

Pet care experience
We have two (2) poodle mixes in our home, therefore, we have beds in every room, toys and a HUGE backyard that caters to small dogs. If you choose us to watch over your pup they will get access to a fully fenced back yard, human cuddles, doggie playmates, a spot on the bed at night, a spot in front of the fire or at the window to watch squirrels during the day and daily walks. We will pamper your dog like we do our own. Your dog will feel like he/she is part of a small dog 'wolf pack' and feel right at home while you are away. Like pictures while you are away? I will send a bunch! Want to be left alone with only one update per day? That's cool, too... it's your vacation!
