Somehow dogs always love me
I’ve cared for my own dogs and helped watch pets for friends and family for several years. I’m especially comfortable with high-energy and vocal dogs since I’ve owned a Husky and a Sheltie, so barking, excitement, and big personalities don’t bother me at all. I genuinely enjoy walking dogs (even for free while dog sitting) because it’s calming for both me and the dog (as long as the owner is okay with it). I also take pet safety seriously. One dog I was caring for had eaten something it shouldn’t have before the owners left town. While dog sitting, I noticed the dog was acting unusual and decided to take it to the emergency vet right away while keeping the owner updated throughout the process. The dog ended up being okay, and I always try to stay attentive, calm, and communicative when caring for a pet.

I always try to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed whether I’m in my home or the owner’s home. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, walks, medications, and anything else the owner wants done a specific way. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. I’m very attentive to unusual behavior and believe in keeping owners updated if anything seems off. I also respect people’s homes and try to leave everything exactly how I found it.

Corey was absolutely fantastic! He stayed in our home for a week looking after our Vizsla, Nellie, and we couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. He took wonderful care of her, kept us updated with photos and messages, and treated our home with the utmost respect. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a spotless house, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Cory is my dog's favorite human. Period. She loves him more than me, her very own adoring mother. I try not to take this personally. Cory has been our go-to dog and house sitter for at least five years whenever we go out of town, and our dog's ridiculously excited reaction to his mere arrival in our driveway always cracks me up and helps me relax when we're away. Our dog is not very good around other dogs and gets easily triggered by neighborhood squirrels and UPS deliveries. She's a little bit obnoxious and can be a bit of a handful, to put it mildly. But Cory is so attentive, patient and kind with her. Our dog is totally in love with him and I don't think there's any higher praise than when it comes straight from her.
Cory has cared for our two dogs many times and has always been reliable, patient, and attentive. On one occasion, one of our dogs wasn’t feeling well before we left town. We were slightly concerned but didn’t think it was serious. While we were away, his condition worsened and became an emergency. Cory quickly realized something was seriously wrong and immediately took him to the emergency vet. His quick action truly saved our dog’s life.
Cory is an excellent pet caregiver. He takes care of my baby girl, makes sure she gets exercise and is always on top of his game. She loves to see him and even starts to whimper out of excitement when she sees him. I highly recommend Cory.

I recently graduated and am currently searching for jobs, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available every day of the week and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day!
