I’m a stay-at-home mom, and my kids and I are home all day, which means your dog will never be left alone for extended periods of time. We plan our outings and activities around our pet care responsibilities, ensuring your dog gets the attention and love they deserve throughout the day. Unlike a standard kennel, where dogs may be confined for long stretches, your dog will have plenty of time to relax, play, and enjoy the environment with us. Whether it’s going for walks, playing in the yard, or just hanging out during quiet moments, your dog will always be included in our daily routine. This personalized care helps ensure that your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and well-being are my top priority. I provide a safe and loving environment where your dog can feel at home. While staying with us, your dog will always be leashed during walks and playtime outdoors to ensure their safety. I ask that you bring a leash, collar, or harness from home to make sure we’re fully prepared. I maintain a calm, structured environment where your dog can enjoy plenty of outdoor exploration, indoor relaxation, and socialization with other dogs. My dogs are well-trained and act as supportive companions, offering both playful interactions and gentle comfort when needed. I also make sure to check in with your dog regularly to ensure they’re comfortable, happy, and getting the care they need. Whether it’s providing extra affection or respecting their space, I am committed to building trust with your dog to ensure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away

What to Bring for Daycare/ Over Night Stay: 🐾 Your pup’s usual food (so no tummy troubles!) 🐾 Leash and collar/harness 🐾 Any meds they might need 🐾 A favorite toy or blankie if you want — totally optional! • Feeding Routine: Please share their feeding schedule, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions or preferences. • Behavioral Traits: Does your dog have any specific likes or dislikes, anxiety triggers, or past experiences that could affect their behavior? This helps me make them feel more comfortable. • Health Concerns: If your dog is on medication or has any health issues, please provide clear instructions on how to manage it. • Potty Breaks: How often does your dog need potty breaks throughout the day? This will help me stay on top of their needs. • Favorite Activities: What activities do they love? Let me know if they enjoy playing fetch, cuddling, or any other special routines. • Comfort Items: If there’s anything they need to feel at home (like a favorite toy, blanket, or bed), please bring it along. By providing this information, I can ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for your dog while you’re away. The more details you provide, the better I can accommodate their needs and make them feel at ease.

A typical day

Here’s what to expect your dogs to be doing while in my care Morning: We start the day with a potty break outside at 7:30 AM, followed by some playtime (inside or outside depending on the weather). After play, your dog(s) will enjoy breakfast and then relax for a bit. During this time, I’ll get my kids set up with homeschooling and check in with your dog(s) to see if they need anything—another potty break, some affection, or if they’re feeling a bit isolated. Afternoon: After some downtime, we’ll have another round of play or a “therapy” dog session. My dogs love helping to bring out the playful side in other dogs or offering comfort when needed. We’ll also go for walks around the property so your dog(s) can enjoy exploring, sniffing, and getting some exercise. Please provide a leash, collar, or harness for your dog(s) as they will always be leashed during these walks. Evening: In the evening, we have dinner, followed by another relaxing time together. We wind down with some quiet bonding time, cuddles, and another potty break before bed.

Reliable & Loving Pet Care!

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Cortney, a stay-at-home mom who homeschools, so I’m home all day to give your dog plenty of love, attention, and care. I take bookings through Facebook as well and can be found by searching Cortney’s Pawperty. I love and treat every dog like one of my own and understand that each pup has their own personality and needs. I take dogs out every hour for potty breaks, sniffing adventures, or just to enjoy the fresh air, unless they’d rather stay inside and relax. I don’t have a fenced yard, but that’s actually a positive. Instead of being limited to a small backyard, your dog gets to walk and explore my entire 3 acres of open land (on leash, of course) with me by their side. I let each dog lead their care. If they want to play, we play. If they need to rest, we rest. If they’re missing you and need extra comfort, I’m right there with calming words, cozy cuddles, and a lap to sit on, especially during thunderstorms or rainy days, which I know can be scary for some pups. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away. You can count on frequent updates and lots of love from me while they’re here.

Cortney was very friendly, and she took great care of our two energetic dogs! Her place is clean and she was able to care for multiple dogs very well. She communicated well and promptly returned messages and also sent multiple pictures and a video. Our pups were happy and relaxed when we picked them up.
