I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was very young. I'm a trusted, seasoned, reliable, friendly, and very loving pet sitter I currently work from home part-time and will be able to take the best care of your furry loved ones. Whatever the client needs I will make happen! :) I live near many parks, including a fenced-in dog park. I have a small and very friendly dachshund to keep your pet company and will always be present in the house to watch and take care of your pet.

We booked Cortney for 3 nights of boarding over the 4th of July for our 4.5-month old black lab puppy. Unfortunately, Cortney surrendered our dog less than 24 hours into the stay after our dog got sick (diarrhea and vomiting). We certainly understand that it is difficult to deal with a sick puppy and feel for the difficulty Cortney faced, but this put us in a very difficult position. For one, Cortney said she did not want to take our dog to the vet because it was triggering to her since her cat had recently died. That is certainly understandable, but I am not sure a person should sign up to be a Rover sitter if they are unwilling to take a sick animal to the vet. That puts the animal at risk. Also, we were out of town and had to consider cutting our trip short; luckily, my sister-in-law was willing to drop her holiday weekend plans to rush our dog to the animal hospital (of course very few vets were even open since this happened on July 4) and watch our dog for the rest of the weekend. The vet wasn’t very concerned about our dog because she was in good spirits, but because Cortney had made the situation sound so dire, they did several tests. The tests did not identify any issues, and the vet simply recommended bland food for the next few days. My sister-in-law reported a bit more diarrhea but no accidents for the remainder or our trip. Overall, I think Cortney might not be equipped to handle the high energy and developing digestive / immune system of a young puppy. I am not sure she understood that it’s normal for a puppy to need very frequent potty breaks and the potential to need to go to the potty multiple times during the course of a night. She was very friendly and responsive and did reach out as soon as there was an issue, which I credit her for. However, a Rover sitter needs to be willing and able to go to the vet should the need arise.
Cortney is one of the Dogsitters I trust with my dog, Scarlett. She has watched Scarlett twice now. Cortney is attentive & responsive, and my dog seems to have made a friend with her dog!
I was so blown away by Courtney! Thank you so much for taking care of our dog while we were away. There was plenty of attention, cuddles, and activity for my dog, all of which she enjoyed! While we were out, Courtney was very thoughtful and had a great conversation with us. Additionally, she is a dog whisperer when it comes to getting pictures of your pets. It would be a pleasure to leave Momo with her again in the future! ❤️
Cortney was responsive, sent pictures of my dog throughout the stay. We had a video chat prior to the stay and she showed me her place. She's a delightful person to work with and I would love to ask her to watch my dog again.
