I work full time from home, so I’m there all day long to care for your pet. My kids are not super young anymore, and have been raised around animals and we are very strict about how they interact. I also can keep your pup with me in my office that opens up to my yard (separate from the kids) all day.

I have a house with a fenced yard, a large covered area, and dog door access to the garage. Since I work from home all day and my office has a sliding glass door that opens to the fenced yard, I often leave it wide open and let the dogs come in and out as they please

The most important things I check on with any new job is 1)does your dog do well with kids. If there is any hesitation there, we won’t be able to accommodate this request. (In return for this high standard, I will assure you that the kids are very respectful and loving to animals. Your pet will be treated like royalty at our house.) 2) is your dog an escape artists? We have a great big yard for dogs to play in, but can’t have a dog that escapes.

Depending on your dog’s specific needs and interests, we love to do day hikes or play ball in the yard. Our kids have endless energy to keep your pup busy.

I grew up with many pets of all types in our home. From a very young age I was responsible for taking care of our family pets. I also did a lot of dogsitting and walking all through high school and college. I now have two very sweet rescue pups and three failed-foster kitties that we love on.
