Hi, I'm Corinne! I'm an Oakland-based yoga teacher, writer, and aerial dancer with more than 8 years of professional pet-sitting experience. Caring for animals is one of my favorite parts of what I do, and I love getting to know each pet's unique personality, routines, and quirks. Since I began housesitting in 2018, I've cared for dozens of dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments—including energetic puppies, senior pets, reactive or anxious dogs, and pets who need medication or other specialized care. As a yoga teacher, I'm naturally patient, observant, and attentive. I enjoy taking the time to earn an animal's trust, notice changes in their behavior, and adapt to the pace that helps them feel safest and most comfortable. I split my work between teaching in person and working from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. I'm organized, dependable, and comfortable learning new care routines, administering medication, and providing regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in their own homes, I treat every home with the same respect I give the animals, and I always strive to leave your home just as clean—or even cleaner—than I found it.

When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is always to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment that feels familiar to them. I know how important it is to trust someone with your home and your animals, and I treat every space with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Before each sit, I take time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, triggers, preferences, and any special care instructions. I’m comfortable administering medication, caring for senior or anxious pets, and adapting my approach to each animal’s individual needs. As a yoga teacher, I’m naturally patient, observant, and attentive to small changes in behavior and energy. I focus on building trust at your pet’s pace—whether that means an adventurous walk, a playful session, or simply being a calm presence nearby. I’m also happy to provide regular updates, photos, and videos so you can feel connected and confident that your pets and home are in good hands.

Corinne has watched our house and dog numerous times in the past 5 years, and is incredible. I’m pretty sure our dog likes her more than he likes us. Corinne as a dog/house sitter is caring, very reliable, and our dog is always so happy after staying in her care. Our home is spotless when we return - even better than how we left it! She takes such good care of everything, I never have to worry when Corinne stays at our home when we are away. She is always the first person I reach out to when we are away to watch our home and doggie, and we are so grateful for all of her help the last several years.
I have known Corinne for twenty years and she is a close friend. She is an animal-lover and is very conscientious. She has traveled the world and is very comfortable in a myriad of different situations. She has watched our dog as well as our home. My dog is always so excited whenever she comes over. I highly recommend Corinne as both a house-sitter and a pet-sitter.
Corinne is truly the best house and pet sitter. I have 2 loving but reactive dogs, and I know I am leaving them in great hands with Corinne. She took the time to learn our training cues, hand signals, and typical walking routes so she could keep them consistent for our pups. She sent thoughtful updates (with photos!) every day and left the house cleaner than we left. I’ve had dozens of sitters, and Corinne is always top of my list because I know she’ll do exactly what I ask (and more)!
Corinne was an absolute godsend while caring for my home and my dog, Sirius. She’s incredibly attentive, communicative, responsible, and respectful—truly someone you can trust without hesitation. Not only did she keep my space clean and welcoming for my return, but she also gave Sirius so much love and attention that he completely fell for her. Even my neighbors had glowing things to say after seeing them out on walks! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Corinne to anyone looking for a dependable, thoughtful, and all-around amazing house or pet sitter.
I have known Corinne for a very long time and she is an incredibly kind and considerate person of other people and their homes. She has house and cat sat for me multiple times and has always left the space better than I left it. She is intentional in how she respects the home she is caring for. Anyone who brings her in will be beyond satisfied and happy with how she maintains their home.
Corinne is the only person we trust to house sit our country cottage and take care of our 26 chickens. Corinne loves animals, has years of house sitting and pet sitting experience and is a wonderfully kind and compassionate person. Prior to house sitting for the first time, Corinne took the time to meet with us to answer/ask questions, walk around our property to learn where everything was located, and confirm our schedule for our hens. I love that Corinne thoughtfully asked us our expectations around communication prior to our trip so all of us were clear on when we would hear updates and what information would be prioritized. Corinne goes above and beyond with pet sitting care because she truly wants to get to know all the animals! We have 26 hens which equals 26 names...Corinne knows all of them! 🐓 Our hope was to find someone who would want to spend time with them in addition to feeding them. Corinne takes the time to sit with them, give them love and get to know them when we're away 💜 . Each time we return, Corinne has the washed towels folded in a neat stack, the bed made with clean sheets, everything clean and tidy and a warm note welcoming us home and sharing any last minute updates 😊. During one trip we had several packages delivered and Corinne made sure to put them in a safe place and kindly handled all delivery signatures and communication with the drivers. 📦 We cherish and adore Corinne. Before we met Corinne, it had been two years since we'd been on a trip because we didn't have anyone we trusted to stay in our cottage and take care of our hens! Corinne is professional, communicative, responsive, thoughtful and reliable. We're so grateful for the many times Corinne has kept our cottage and chickens safe and loved and thank Corinne in advance for the trips we have in the future. 😍

Schedule
I’m a yoga teacher, writer, and aerial dancer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to build my days around the pets in my care. My schedule includes a mix of teaching in person and working from home, so I’m able to provide plenty of companionship, attention, and consistency for your pets. For overnight stays, I love creating a calm, home-like routine—morning walks, playtime, meals, enrichment, and plenty of cuddles or quiet companionship depending on your pet’s personality. For drop-in visits, I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and make sure they receive the care, attention, exercise, and affection they need while you’re away. I’m organized and communicative, and I take the time to understand your pet’s unique needs, habits, and preferences so their routine feels as familiar and comfortable as possible.
