Safety, trust & environment
I live in a child-free home with a yard, and a large dog park across the street! I also have long walking trail nearby, so your pup will have lots to keep them busy during their stay! Dogs will be staying with my two 13 lbs. chi-mixes, who are both gentle and shy in nature.

Please let me know if your dog has any behavioral issues or special needs beforehand! We can work on those together, and accommodate for their needs as necessary.
A typical day
I love to use dog walking as part of a training routine that allows dogs in my care to be physically and mentally stimulating. I usually make sure that my dogs get 5,000-10,000 steps depending on the day, but also make periodic stops to re-inforce tricks they're learning, and teach them walking manners. Of course, I also make sure that my dogs get to sniff every single leaf to their heart's content!

Pet care experience
Nice to meet you! My name is Corina, and I'm a young professional, on a mission to build a bigger treat fund for my two fur babies!! My experience: I've spent 2 decades growing up alongside medium and small dogs, and in my adult life, I've gotten lots of practice cleaning up and caring for my three senior poodle mixes. After they passed in 2024, I dedicated all of my free time to being a dog foster parent at HSSV, which allowed me to meet tons of bouncy little puppies, old and young dogs with various personalities, as well as exposure to different behavioral issues, and the support needed to help dogs grow past them. My foster journey ended when I met Tomi from HSSV's foster program, and I couldn't let him go! And his sister, Mocha, joined us shortly after, when a relative could no longer care for her. They are both very gentle and shy in personality, and great company for any other smaller sized pups that are learning or looking for some friends!
Reviews
Corina was our dog's foster mom before we adopted our pup; we recently met Corina because we needed a pet-sitter for a whole day that turned out to be an overnight. She came by to meet our girl again after almost a year, and our little girl remembered her foster mom quite happily! Thus, we left our baby with Corina for an overnight the following weekend because we had a family reunion and didn't want our pup to have to spend the whole day locked in our kitchen. Corina took her in, took her for a walk with her own dog, allowed her to meet a really big, funny-looking "dog" (a horse), and have a generally great time. Our pup came home as happy as could be. Corina has a clear love of animals and is good with her little guy as well as our medium-sized pup. You can expect Corina to care for your pup as though it was her own, and your four-legged family member will be a happy pup for the time with Corina!
