Traveling can be stressful enough. Why worry about your pet while your are gone. Let us help! In our home setting, we dog sit as a family. While I am responsible for your pet, all of us love and care for your pet equally. Our family includes two adult "children", a sweet old pitbull mix, a high energy female boxer and a rescued puppy mill mama Bichon. I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. We have a large, fenced yard with plenty room to run and play. Our dogs love to run laps, fetch balls, and play in the water in the summer. The house dogs are: Mello, Bristol and Bijou. They love meeting new friends to play with! In our home, we have gates into areas that dogs are not allowed without supervision. We also have stairs in the house as well as from the back porch into the yard. Our puppy rate is not based on or include a specific age. It is based on the needs of your dog at the time of the stay. Please speak with us to help us determine your pups needs. About this sitter: My family and I have always had dogs and cats and lizards and gerbils. If my daughter, Baylee could, she would have a zoo! Mello and Bristol love attention. Bijou is still learning how to be a dog and loves her interaction with all of the visiting pups. And Bristol is a puppy herself. Baylee and Peter are your average young adults. Lots of video games and texting, but enjoy playing fetch and walking the dogs. Let us help take away some of your stress and worries. We can't wait to meet your family's fur babies and love them while you are away on vacation. We try to keep the dog's routine as normal as possible while you are away. If they sleep in your bed, they will sleep in our bed. Let's meet to discuss their routines. Contact us to schedule a "meet and greet". Why I love dog sitting Our family has always had dogs, either as children or as a family. They go camping and hiking with us. Two of our previous family dogs were deaf and had learned sign language. We have approximately 1/4 acre of land total including the front and back yards. The dogs aren't left alone in the yard. You never know what a determined dog can do. My experience administering medication Yes, with specific instructions and helpful hints. We can administer injections, pills, ointments, or drops. Our schedules vary day to day. I have specific drop off times to helps keep a routine. We ask that you drop off the evening before your scheduled travel date after 7 pm. More flexibility is available on weekends and holidays. I have a 6 foot fenced yard. We also have perimeter cameras. We will use crates for those that are accustomed to them ( we provide these). We will require a copy of recent vaccinations to include rabies for all boarders. While I do work outside of the home, my families schedule and my work schedule allow someone to be home most of the time with the dogs. Our yard is fenced and secured. We provide all kennels, food bowls and equipment your dog may need. We ask for a copy of their vaccine records and their food to be brought to the stay.
