I currently have a cat named ozzy and a Yorkie named Chicago, i make sure to tend to their needs on a daily basis, whether that's play time, cuddles, feeding, walks or maintaining a clean area i really want to make sure that any animal is given just as good of treatment as any person should receive. I'll also walk my neighbors dogs as well and help with whatever else is needed.

Safety, trust & environment

It's very important that when you go to someones home you respect it as if it's your own place. I personally like to keep a neat and tidy home, so i would treat yours with the same respect. It's also very important to discuss any key details with the pet owner to ensure that their pets best interest is being met.

Information Corey G. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or preferences that i can account for. Knowing this is vital for the comfort of your pet.

A typical day

Encouraging pets to be active both physically and mentally is very important for both cats and dogs. So for dogs while playing some games and going on a walk we would take our time (if dog is healthy we would do a little bit of jogging) and stop periodically checking some of the new smells. We would then head over to a great big park that we can explore and it would be a plus to go to a dog park so that they can socialize. For cats it would be good to encourag some play time and give them some pets. (but to also be mindful of their boundaries and if and when they need space)

Pet care experience

Throughout my life I've had the privilege of having no less than 2 dogs at any given time. There would also be bunnies, ferrets, birds, chinchillas, gerbils, guinea pigs, and lizards. I have had the joy of being around many different types of animals throughout my life and i am very grateful for that. Being around animals brings me immense joy, and i believe that my actions with my pets and/or with anyone else's pets has a direct impact on their happiness which i really take to heart, and this is of the utmost importance to me. When watching your furry family member i really like to ask myself, if i had someone watch my two four legged kids what would i like for them to do? and i like to apply that logic for every one of my four legged clients. One thing i really take pride in doing, is giving a good honest summary of the required booking. I will give you details on anything worth at all mentioning whether its possible anxiety moments, a subtle limp while on a walk, or something goofy and quirky they do that's cute. I really like to try and give more details than "they did good on their walk". As a owner of a cat and dog, i can say that I would love to see more of that. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I look forward to speaking with you as well as getting to know your fur baby. I am also willing to watch reptiles, rodents, or any other small pets (exotic animals) and will charge this at the standard cat rate.

Corey took fantastic care of our pets. Booked last minute after our pet care fell through, which created additional anxieties for us in finding a new person. Corey was very thorough, caring, and communicative. We'd book again if the need arises!

I can’t say enough good things about Corey. He was thoughtful in his questions and setting expectations. He was great with providing us updates, photos, and videos. You could tell our girls loved him. We would have him back anytime!

Corey stayed at our house and watched our 2 doggos, Ace & Sophie (both German shepherds) for 2 total weeks while we were out of the country. He took excellent care of our dogs and sent multiple updates a day - it was a true relief to not have to worry about them at all while we were gone. I would recommend him again 1000% for anyone looking for a dog sitter!
