Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m a co-carer, which gives me a flexible schedule, and I also work on projects on the side that allow me to plan my time around pet care. This flexibility means I can provide reliable attention, regular walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the day, rather than fitting pets in around a rigid work schedule.

I have been a pet owner my entire life, and I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I have personally trained my own Border Collie, which has given me valuable experience with obedience training, high-energy breeds, and positive reinforcement techniques. I am comfortable caring for everything from Great Danes to smaller breeds, and I understand how to adapt my approach based on a pet’s individual needs. Above all, I treat every pet as if they are my own, providing a safe and loving environment while you are away.

Corey sat my dog for 5 days and previous to this we had a meet and greet which went well, and I was given opportunities to express things that were not good for Scout. I was asked if Corey and his mum could walk their dog at the same time as Scout and I said no, probably not a good idea as Scout can be funny around other dogs and i didnt want them to meet without me being there. This was ignored and they walked their dog with Scout. It apparently was fine, but I was not comfortable with this and it had already happened by the time I was made aware of it. Being in America at the moment, If anything had happened, there would have been nothing I could have done. My friend who took over the sitting said Scout was on edge and was crying to go out for a walk when she got there a few hours after Corey left, this isn’t usual behaviour from her and she’s had new sitters before. I also had to regularly ask for updates, and the replies were very bare minimum details. I expressed at the meet and greet, i need alot of regular updates. My house was also not left in a clean way which was disappointing. Other than the concerns mentioned above, the service was ok.
Corey has looked after my dogs on several occasions and he has been great with the dogs, he is very reliable and flexible. Always ensuring the dogs are never left alone, as I work from home I needed someone who could stay day and night as the dogs are used to having company. Sending me regular updates putting my mind at ease.
Corey is a great pet sitter for my BC dog Toby. He regularly walks him for me as I work and tends to my 2 cats also.
