My name is Cora Hecker
I have owned and taken care of many animals in my life including dogs, alpacas, wallabies, and other livestock. I am currently a college student studying to become a veterinarian and have even worked in a vets office for a year. I also worked at animal shelters and animal rescue ranches in the past so I have experience with some special needs animals as well.

I can’t say enough good things about Cora! From the moment we met, it was clear how much she genuinely loves dogs. My goldendoodle Winston instantly bonded with her (which never happens right away!), and I felt completely at ease leaving my pup in her care. Throughout the stay, Cora went above and beyond — sending regular photo updates, long walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I could tell my dog was happy, relaxed, and truly cared for. It’s rare to find someone so responsible, kind, and trustworthy. Her experience working in a vets clinic also added to my ease of Winston in her care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cora to anyone who wants their dog treated like family. I’ve definitely found my go-to sitter for every trip from now on! 🐾💛

Schedule
I am a full time student and have classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I will be home before and after classes however and also have roomates to help me out if something comes up while I am at school.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment but we have a front yard I would take them to go potty at as well as a very nice dog park. I will also take them on regular walks everyday.
A typical day
We have a really nice dog park so if they are a social dog I can take them there to play and if not then I will play with them myself and take them on walks/runs with me in the mornings
