Experienced pet and home sitter!
Hey there! I’ve taken care of and raised dogs since I was 12. I also spent all of summer 2023 home/petsitting for families vacationing from Colorado. It’d be my pleasure to care for your pets as well! Edit Jan 2026: I’ve been Rovering now in SF for 2.5 years with 10+ repeat clients!

Cooper took really good care of my dog and was very responsive the whole time! My dog played really well with his dog and I will definitely be a repeat client
Consistently updated me about my Frenchie and sent many photos during her house sit. My senior pup needs extra care and has to be pushed around in a stroller, but Cooper was gracious and super accommodating :)
Cooper was easy to communicate with and flexible. We were able to do a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure it was a good fit. He was able to do medication administration while we were gone as well. Definitely an experienced pet sitter that I’d recommend.
Cooper was amazing with our Deckard for 3 weeks while we were out of town. He's not the easiest dog due to some anxiety issues, but Cooper got him to trust him quickly. He even had to deal with a vomiting episode, which he communicated about quickly and efficiently before caring for him like a pro. It was true relief to have our dog with Cooper for an extended stay, and I'd recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!
Cooper was great! Murph seemed to really enjoy his weekend with him & Raider 🙂
Cooper is an amazing communicator and very timely. We always have a hard time finding a sitter capable of taking care of our sweet boy, as he is quite anxious around certain dogs. Cooper was very understanding of the demands that come with anxious dogs and was happy to do a meet-and-greet ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable with the overnight stay. He was also happy to take our dog's very large and heavy crate (his safe place) for the night. I appreciated the photos and texts during the stay as well! Would love to book again.

Schedule
I work full-time for a startup and have a flexible schedule that allows me to be fully remote. I have my own rescue pup, a 4 yr old English Bulldog named Raider! I live alone and am close to 2 dog parks!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home: pets will be receiving as much attention as they desire. I aim for 10k steps per day, so if your pet likes to walk, they can plan to get a good 1-3 in daily with me! I live close to the Lafayette dog park and Francisco park as well for some off-leash time (if your pet can handle it). Client’s home: I’m an OCD, exceptionally clean individual. You should expect your home to be left cleaner than when I arrived and your pet’s needs met with your existing routine.

A typical day
If your dog has a list of toys he prefers, I’d be happy to take those for the time being for some fun/fetch/tug of war. As mentioned, I live very close to 2 parks (not far from the beach either) and walking around the neighborhood is super dog-friendly. I also love walking around the Presidio and Fort Mason!

- I have taken care of aggressive (protective) dogs in the past, senior pups, and 2 special needs pets. I’m not opposed if this is your pup! As long as you can explain their schedule and necessary procedures, I’d be happy to assist in care for your pup. Let’s chat :) In terms of aggressive dogs: I am very good at recognizing worrisome or nervous behaviors. If your pup won’t let me put a leash on them to go for a walk or go outside to use the bathroom (unless you have a yard), this can be a burden that I’m not always comfortable dealing with. This situation is more like “dog watching” and not dogsitting/walking. In every circumstance that I’ve come across this, it’s taken protective dogs a few days to warm up to me, but in many ways I am a “dog whisperer”. I have yet to come across a pup that didn’t form a bond with me. Before any house/petsitting bookings are finalized, I would love to meet you and see your residence to ensure it’s the right fit ahead of time. Looking forward to meeting you :)
