Pet care experience

Reliable and friendly pet friend!

Hello! My name is Conor and I moved to Scotland in 2017 to get my degree in biology. As you can tell I loved it so much I had to stay. I’ve worked with all different types of animals in my time as the vice chairperson of a horse rescue and the chairperson of an animal rescue. I also volunteer with a dog rescue in Cumnock where I’ve learned about this app! I grew up on a farm and have had dogs my whole life and have always been drawn to their company. In the military our platoons dog handler was sick of me due to the fact he would always find me and the pup playing around when he was meant to be working. I am a considerate and patient handler who is always vigilant, the safety and wellbeing of those in my care always comes first. My time is split between my home in hyndland and my personal office in the city centre, which is completely welcoming to all dogs. So if need be there can be all day company! If there are any questions please let me know and I hope we can work together!

Doggy Day Care • Jun 30, 2026

Conor communicated really well with us. He took great care of our dogs and they were walked. He took time to record photos on the walks. Dogs were very content when we came to pick them up. Thanks Conor!

Would highly recommend Conor, the girls loved him. He was was very patient and relaxed with them and he genuinely enjoyed spending time with them - it was as if I was doing him a favour not the other way around.

Conor was a great match for my dog. He was well informed and clearly loves dogs, from understanding their individual temperaments to providing activities to suit the breed. A fun filled weekend with photo, video and message updates to keep me in the loop. I didn’t have to worry at all that my dog was in safe hands.

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog carer. From the start, he was friendly, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. He kept me updated regularly with photos and messages, which made such a difference while I was away. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious he genuinely loves animals. I would 100% trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable pet care.

Conor has been fantastic with my rescue pup! You can tell he has lots of experience and truly loves being around dogs. He’s very friendly and after our meet and greet I had full confidence that Winston, my greyhound, would be in great hands. My dog can be a little bit anxious, so knowing Conor worked from home and can spend more time with him put me at ease. Since Conor also volunteers at a dog shelter he asked the right questions to make sure Winston was comfortable and adjusted quickly. I would highly recommend Conor!!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I wake up every day by 7am and am able to do the first walk of the morning then. After that I usually work out for 2 hours, then it’s the first long walk to the office which takes about an hour. If the pup isn’t keen for such long walks I’ll either take the train or car! It is my personal office so it’s a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy some enrichment activities. The day is broken into smaller bathroom break walks when needed and longer walk during lunch. Then it’s the journey home to tuck in for the night!

Safety, trust & environment

I do not have any pets of my own and live in a two bedroom spacious flat with a dog park right down the road. I can follow orders easily to make sure the routine you’ve set with your wee ones are maintained

A typical day

For active dogs: first walk of the day before 8am to stretch the legs. After that we have breakfast and daily needs. We then have a three hour break after food to relax and digest. Then it’s our first long walk of the day which will take us an hour. We will continue any training specified and play some ball or sniff training in the park! While at the office we’ll use enrichment toys to help stimulate the brain and fight off any boredom. Two smaller walks during the day and a long walk home. Play in the park and then dinner to settle in for the day, and one last walk before bed. For sleepy pups: we’ll start our day at 8 with our first walk, stretch the legs and sniff around the park. Breakfast and any needed specific activities followed by 3 hours of relaxation time. Then a short walk to the train and to the office. Smaller walks during the day for bathroom breaks and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. Then back home with a longer walk at night to the park to sniff around and play with any favourite toys. Dinner and cuddles or their own space if they prefer.
