Friendly WFH'r looking to care for your pets
I've been walking dogs and visiting cats for over 4 years now through Rover, with regular clients - which I first started to fill the pet shaped hole in my life since moving to Carlisle. I've absolutely loved meeting all these new wee characters, and hope I can meet many more. I'm currently working full time remotely with flexible hours, so I'm able to pop out for day to day check-ins or walks as required.

I'm interested in walking a dog regularly as well as check in on them throughout the day, and overnight stays. I currently work remotely so I'm happy to be present during the day also. I fully believe that positive reinforcement is the best way to keep any pet well behaved, and have no problem handling even the most boisterous canines or fussiest of kittens. I can pop in from 6am-4pm to take them for walks or let them out / feed / etc.

I've walked dogs big and small with a variety of types of leashes, so I'm experienced in handling even the most hyperactive of dogs. If their health allows it, I always ensure dogs are well walked at least twice a day so that they're calm once back in the household, and I time feeding around these walks (though I'll respect whatever schedule you prefer for your pet).

A typical day
I'd love to take your dog out and have company as we explore Carlisle, or visit their favourite spots. If they are proficient off the leash I will let them roam safely in the park, otherwise I can walk and run with them all depending on their preference, and yours! If it's just a visit that you prefer, I'll take any feeding instructions you would want, keep them company and play with any toys. I love finding out what each little individual likes, and will endeavour to make them as comfortable with me as I possibly can. Whether they're a cuddly, friendly, outgoing dog, or a shy and reserved one, I will cater my approach to the individual and enjoy every second of it!

- If your pet has any special dietary requirements, training regimen or behaviours you wish to encourage, I will ensure I follow these to the letter to help develop them and keep them engaged, and try to make sure they enjoy spending time with me. If your pet (or you!) have any reservations about the experience I would love to meet you to talk through any requirements, and I will endeavour to cater for any and all of these. I can be an assertive presence for a boisterous dog, or as patient as they need for a nervous one.
