Woodland and forest walks have always been my favourite types of walks with my own dog. We have some beautiful walks around the area! Dogs love being able to smell lots of new scents throughout a forest and I find the younger ones also love playing in the leaves during autumn. Woodland walks also offer shade for warmer weather and for dogs that may prefer to be out of the sun. Ball and frisbee throwing in fields is also another popular walk as well as lots of cuddles and affection!

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Connie. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile! Let me tell you a bit about myself! I have been caring for family pets from a young age myself and am Knowledgable and experienced in animal handling. I am a Qualified veterinary nurse and have been working in veterinary practice for 8 years. I have experience dealing with all kinds of animals, behaviours, ages and breeds and no pet has ever been too much trouble for me! I have my own pup, a 2 year old Golden Retriever, who I waited many years for as well as a horse who I enjoy riding in my spare time! I have been completely animal obsessed from a very young age, hence my career as a vet nurse! In my spare time studying at university I established a successful dog sitting and walking business, which earned me some extra pocket money! I have recently moved towns in the last 18 months and had to give up many clients I once had. I would love to establish that relationship I had with pet owners again and spend time with lots of new four legged friends who I treat as my own! Thank you for reading & I hope to hear from you soon! :)

Reviews

Connie & Quaver are fabulous! Kipling has just spent a fun long weekend with Connie & Quaver, an it’s safe to say he loved it. We picked him up & he didn’t want to leave. When we got him home he snoozed for the rest of the afternoon and clearly missed Quaver💔 I was very nervous leaving Kipling, our 7 month old vizsla for the first time. He is a high energy breed and finding some who not only understood his needs but also had a high energy breed herself was so reassuring. Connie made me feel at ease as soon as I met her, she is so friendly & bubbly, happy to answer any questions or play with your bouncy pup. she sent me regular updates throughout the stay & most importantly accommodated his routine, training & did some socialisation with him with another Vizsla an also her own horse. As normal for a puppy, he got a bit unsettled/nervous at times but Connie dealt with it brilliantly! I’m so happy we found Connie, I can’t sing her praises enough - book her for all your puppy needs!🐕🐾❤️
I have had the pleasure of working along side Connie for 2 years now! An outstanding nurse and an even better dog mom. Her love and knowledge for animals is truly impressive! Connie is a reliable, caring and highly experienced when it comes to looking after animals and not just the sick ones. I have been told as young girl Connie has always dog minded for family members. She has a horse and a beautiful golden retriever of her own who she would do anything for. If you are looking for a compassionate, responsible to look after your furry companions then I can wholeheartedly recommend Connie! Her genuine affection for animals is exceptional and you would never be let down
