Availability
I work from home, so I am available to let dogs out if needed and give play breaks in between meetings. Morning and evenings are great times for walks or playing in the backyard.

I have a fenced in yard with grass for dogs to play in and a separate dog run for them to use for potty purposes. I have space to crate dogs if/when needed and plenty of dog beds for relaxing, tennis balls to fetch, and Nylabones to chew on. We feed dogs separately, and I like to know of any triggers or fears your dog has so that we can take precautions to make sure everyone is safe and happy.

Information Connie D. would like to know about your pet
Please share any special needs or requests for your dog! Dogs staying with us MUST be comfortable in a crate when I'm out (school drop-offs, errands, etc.), as we crate our dogs when we leave. I have crates available if needed. They must also be okay with other dogs, as I have two of my own. I aim to accommodate all needs, and I’ll keep you informed if something doesn’t work out. My dog-watching style involves integrating our canine guests into our daily life, so they’ll be out and about, not crated all day. If your dog prefers alone time in a crate with breaks, just let me know so we can adjust and keep them comfortable!
A typical day
Dogs tend to follow me around and do whatever I’m doing. They have their choice of dog beds and toys to play with. We take breaks and play outside in the backyard or play fetch in the house when it’s too hot or raining outside. Our walks are usually around our neighborhood, in the evening after dinner (or early in the morning before the sun heats up the ground). My dogs are always hanging out with us, and they have beds in nearly every room of my house. I meet the needs of the dog staying with us. Some dogs prefer to hang out in their kennel while others become part of my dog pack and follow me around. I do what I can to make our canine guests feel comfortable and at home. I am not a dog trainer, but I do enjoy playing with dogs and going through their commands/tricks with them if needed/requested.

Pet care experience
Looking for a loving dog sitter? I grew up with dogs and have a passion for caring for them! With experience fostering pit bulls and caring for elderly dogs, I understand their unique needs, including medication and dietary restrictions. In my home, dogs are treated like family—lots of attention, playtime, and companionship from my two friendly rescue dogs. We enjoy daily walks and play, ensuring your pup feels at home. IMPORTANT: Dogs staying with us must be comfortable in a crate when I'm not home (during school drop-offs, errands, etc.). I provide crates if needed. They also need to be okay with other dogs, as I have two of my own. All overnight stays require a meet and greet first, so I cannot accommodate last minute overnight requests unless I’ve already cared for your dog. Let me know about any special needs or quirks, and I’ll happily accommodate! Choose a caring, experienced sitter for your furry friend!
Reviews

Connie was able to take a last minute drop-in request for me and was so so great with Heidi! Communicated perfectly and made me feel at ease while I was out of town for the day. Will definitely use again and would recommend! 🙂

Connie has taken care of my dog Moose on a weekly basis for over 2 years now and she has been amazing! Super reliable, excellent communication, and I always feel so reassured that my dog is in the best possible hands while I’m away. Moose can be anxious and standoffish with strangers but Connie and her family have been like his second family and he is always so excited to see them.

She was able to take care of Max on such a short notice. I truly appreciate Connie. She’s the best. MAX always gets so excited when he realized he’s going to her house.

Connie always spoils our girl! We love the videos/pictures she sends us to update us on how our pup is doing. Thank you so much!
