Safety, trust & environment

I respect all owners level of comfortability when it comes to visiting their private home. For dogs, ideally I would like to meet them outside of their homes, so the first impression isn't in their territorial space. I understand the patience it takes for animals to meet new people, and how to establish healthy boundaries if they are easily overstimulated or eager to play!

Information Connie C. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pet has any special needs, or unique behaviors that I should be aware of. What are your pets unique, personal behaviors that they do to communicate with you?

A typical day

I believe it's important for dogs to be physically and mentally stimulated! This includes playing fetch, going on long walks, allowing them to smell plants on their walk, and grooming (if permitted).

Pet care experience

I have experience taking care of friends and neighbors pets, including senior dogs. Witnessing my childhood dog, Kiki the Chow-Chow, suffer from vestibular disease made me realize how short a dogs life really is– and how important it is to provide your loved-ones the attention and care they deserve. If you are out on vacation or going to a work trip, my priority is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in your absence!

Connie did an amazing job watching my pups so last minute! And she made me a stunning drawing of them that I’ll keep forever — thank you Connie!

Connie took excellent care of our young, energetic cat Raşe during a week of nightly check-ins. She asked incisive questions during our meet-and-greet and communicated well during our time away. She has good intuition about what we needed to see while absent to feel comfortable that Raşe was in good hands. She played with and loved on Raşe as requested, and it was clear from the videos Connie sent that Raşe liked Connie. Definitely recommend.

I have booked Connie numerous times to watch my home and cats and she continues to be a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter. She sends regular updates and is a great communicator - not to mention our cats love her! We couldn’t be happier with Connie and we absolutely recommend booking her services! 😻
