None of that is a dealbreaker, I just want to know going in so I can help. If your pet has a routine they're attached to, send it over. The closer I can stick to what they're used to, the easier the whole thing is on them.

Honestly, it depends on the pet. Some dogs want to cover ground and that's what we'll do. Some want to sniff the same three bushes for twenty minutes and that's fine too. Cats mostly want company on their own terms and I respect that. I follow the animal's lead. If you tell me your dog goes nuts for fetch or your cat has a favorite toy, we're doing that. If they just want to sit next to someone while the day goes by, I'm good company for that too.

I've been the default pet person in my circle for years. When someone goes out of town, I'm the call they make. Over the years I've had turtles, lizards, fish, a hedgehog, dogs, and cats. I had a rescue dog from the Korean meat trade, which shaped how I approach animals that need a little more patience or time to warm up. I'm good at that.

Colyn is an absolute gem! She has dog sat for us a few times now, and they absolutely adore her. Colyn is very thorough - she loves engaging in play time with our dogs and takes them on lengthy walks! Would highly recommend her for any of your pet-sitting needs.
Colyn is one of those people who all animals love. While she's great with dogs, she also has been a great pet-sitter for my senior cats over the years. Senior cats require a little extra love and care, which Colyn gives in spades, and adherence to a strict routine, which Colyn followed perfectly. I'm very attached to my cats and hate leaving them, but knowing they were in Colyn's hands made the whole process easier. I can't recommend her enough!
