Your Pet's Happiness is My Priority

I grew up on a farm in West Virginia where I cared for sheep, goats, and pigs. I have extensive experience walking, feeding, and grooming both dogs and cats, and am comfortable caring for a wide range of animals. In addition to my farm experience, I have worked with injured and sick animals and am trained in administering oral and IM medications, splinting, wound cleaning, and more. As a nationally certified emergency medical technician, I am trained in providing immediate first aid to humans. These skills translate to providing immediate care to pets in the event of an emergency until they are under the care of a veterinarian.

Colton was an excellent sitter for our dog Bongo (10 years old, 85 lb). He kept him for 6 days. Every picture he sent us you could see that Bongo absolutely felt at home and loved Colton. He took him on walks and kept him entertained. I could not have found a better sitter than this guy. Thank you Colton!

Colton was communicative, flexible, and easy to work with. And the dogs has a great time during their stay. Pretty much everything you need from a dog sitter. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be using his services again in the future.

I'm a full-time graduate student at Emory University, studying Environmental Health and Epidemiology. During the summer, I will be working outside the house for approximately four hours per day and working from home the remainder of the time. This means that I will have plenty of time to care for pets throughout the week. I understand that pets require regular attention and care, and I am committed to ensuring that your pets receive the love and care they need while you are away.

Safety, trust & environment

I understand that pet owners entrust me with the safety and well-being of their furry family members, and I take this responsibility very seriously. Whether caring for pets in my home or in the client's home, I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for the pets. If caring for pets in my home, I ensure that my home is clean and safe for pets to explore. I am proud to say that my home is pesticide-free, and I use natural cleaning products to keep it safe and comfortable for pets. Additionally, I have a dedicated indoor space and an enclosed outdoor balcony area for pets to rest, play, and relax. I am happy to accommodate any special requests or needs for your pets while they are in my care. If caring for pets in the client's home, I make sure to respect the space and property of the client while prioritizing the comfort and well-being of the pets. I am respectful of the client's privacy and belongings, and I make sure to follow any specific instructions or requests they may have.

A typical day

A typical day in my care will vary based on the needs of each individual pet. However, I believe that every day should be filled with fun activities and plenty of love and attention! During our time together, I like to take dogs on walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks, depending on what the owner is comfortable with. If your dog enjoys playing fetch, we can do that too! I'm always happy to engage in playtime and activities that suit your dog's personality and energy level. In addition to outdoor activities, I also provide indoor playtime and cuddles for pets that prefer a more relaxed day. Whether it's playing with toys, practicing obedience training, or simply hanging out and giving belly rubs, I am dedicated to providing a comfortable and stimulating environment for your pet.
