I grew up on a cattle farm. I have loved animals my whole life. I have had a variety of inside and outside dogs growing up. I have a through understand of animal behaviors and body language, especially in dogs. To me dogs are like children, they need to be stimulated with exercise, play, and challenges.

I recently had the opportunity to have Colten dog sit, and it was a truly rewarding experience. Caring for someone else’s pet is a responsibility I take seriously, and he followed all instructions provided regarding feeding, walking, and daily routines. Maintaining consistency helped the dog feel comfortable and secure. He cared for my dog, providing attention, affection, and supervision with regular walks, fresh water, proper feeding times, and a safe environment. I He also kept me updated with messages and photos. I had peace of mind knowing Remy was happy and cared for. Dog sitting is more than just a task—it’s about trust, responsibility, and treating someone’s pet like your own. I am grateful for the opportunity and would gladly use Colten again.
Colten has watched our dog Lux on several occasions and always does so well with her. She is a little queen and it’s always nice to know Colten will treat her like the little queen she is when we have to leave her.

Schedule
I currently work from home and have my own dog that I care for during the day. I have a lot of time during the day and thoroughly play and walk my own dog.

I have a fenced in yard in a nice walkable neighborhood in White House. I walk my own dog every morning and have scheduled play times during the day. I also work with my own pup and do continuous training with her commands. Pets are family. Everyone is allowed on the bed and furniture :)

A typical day
First things first we’re starting off with an easy loose leash walk around the neighborhood so we can get our sniffs in. Usually breakfast after and some command work with treats. Usually do multiple play sessions the rest of day with toys/balls out in the yard
