Pet care experience
** !! NOTICE - April 2025 to May 2025, I will have limited availability to rehabilitate the fenced-in backyard. Please reach out ASAP for any requests during that timeframe !! ** Hi! I have years of hands-on experience taking care of many different animals but especially dogs. My father was a professional guide in which I grew up with seven K9 brothers & sisters. While these were mostly walkers with the occasional blue tick, we also had our fair share of inside dogs ranging from my chihuahua "Biscuit", cocker spaniel "Hoppie", to my American Bulldog "Spike" or golden retriever "Jake". I have assisted with two litters from birth to adulthood & have valuable problem-solving experience with K9's. Currently, I have two 1.5 yr old black mouth curs (Firefly & Griz) that enjoy training, a fenced in backyard & exploring nature. Cat & Dog first aid - Red Cross Certified
Reviews

Our pups had a great time at Colt's while we were out of town, as always. We never need to worry about a thing, knowing our babies are loved and well taken care of makes a huge difference. He's the BEST!

Colt demonstrated exceptional professionalism and attentiveness in caring for Izzy and Wilson, our two greyhounds. His comprehensive understanding of the breed’s unique needs was evident throughout his time with them. Colt ensured that both dogs received ample exercise tailored to their age and dispositions, fostering not only their physical health but also their mental stimulation. Colt's compassionate demeanor fostered a trusting environment, allowing Izzy and Wilson to feel safe and comfortable under his care. Colt's dedication to the welfare of our dogs and providing us with daily updates not only met but exceeded expectations.

Colt took excellent care of Clooney and Coby! Lots of pictures and updates which we always appreciate. Thanks for another great worry-free dog stay, Colt!

Our pups had another sleepover with Colt and they had a blast! He takes excellent care of our puppies, we never worry about anything while we are away. He’s the best!

Experience handling dogs with special needs and will love to know more how I can better accommodate those needs. I will always be upfront and honest with the items that I am able to accommodate and will speak up if an item may not fall under my expertise.
A typical day
At the end of your dog's visit, they would have enjoyed playing in the large fenced in back yard, explored trails and have been empowered thru training. To make sure the dirt and smells they picked up during their visit do not make the way to your car or house we do offer bath services. Bath includes hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner, nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, external gland cleaning for a flat rate of $25.
