Experienced dog and cat owner!
I’m a lifelong animal lover and am experienced with dogs and cats. I have 2 senior dogs that I’ve had since they were puppies (a Newfoundland and a Basset hound), and 3 senior cats, so I’ve gotten pretty good at taking care of older animals with health issues, including giving meds orally and topically. I also have 2 cockatiels and a canary!

Safety, trust & environment
I am careful and observant. I will always verify that your dog’s collar and leash are on securely before we leave the house. If you have a fenced in yard, I’ll ensure the gate is closed and latched, and I’ll watch to make sure your dog doesn’t get into anything it’s not supposed to.

Colleen was absolutely amazing with our furry (and feathered!) family. She cared for our 3 dogs, 5 cats, and 3 birds like they were her own. One of our dogs was a senior who was blind and deaf, and another was recovering from knee surgery — she handled both with so much patience, love, and attention. We came home to happy pets and a peaceful house. It’s such a comfort knowing they were so well cared for.

Schedule
I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for a few years. Now that my youngest is in kindergarten, I have time during school hours to work. I’d love to use that time taking care of your pets!
