Colleen is my mother, but she takes care of my rescue dog, Callie, all the time when I'm away. My wife and I both travel a lot for work, so my mom spends a lot time watching Callie. We joke that she loves my mom more than us because she takes her on walks all the time, plays games with her, and teaches her new tricks with treats. She also worked for many years at a place that had many dogs running around the office, and she was always the favorite person to hang out with for the dogs. I think she would be a great Rover because she loves dogs, has a strong work ethic, and is very reliable!
I cannot recommend Colleen highly enough. She has been caring for and walking my dog, Dierks, on and off for years whenever I leave town, and the bond they have developed is truly special. In fact, Dierks is often more excited to see Colleen than he is to see me, which says everything about the love, attention, and care she gives him. There is no one I trust more to enter my home and take care of my dog while I'm away. Colleen is dependable, responsible, and treats Dierks as if he were her own. Knowing she is caring for him gives me complete peace of mind. Her love for and skill with dogs are evident in her own dog, Wilson, who is hands down the most well-behaved and well-trained dog I know. Wilson is an incredibly sweet boy, and the way Colleen has raised him is a testament to her patience, consistency, and deep understanding of dogs. Beyond being exceptional with animals, Colleen is simply an incredible person. I've known her both personally and professionally for more than 13 years, and throughout that time she has consistently demonstrated integrity, kindness, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
