I have lived with and cared for animals almost my entire life, and I have been told many times that I have a way with animals. All of my dogs have been adopted or rescued, and they all came from situations of abuse, abandonment, or neglect. Every single one of my dogs, with love and training, became amazing, wonderful companions. All any dog wants is simply to know what to do to get love and treats. So I'm a big believer in love and treats. With my dogs, I have used Gentle Leader halter collars to guide them for appropriate behavior during walks and click-treat training to teach them what I want them to do. I don't use harsh words, painful collars, or physical punishment. And with cats, all of my cats have been inside-only cats and utterly spoiled. Of course. Over the years, my cats have trained me well, and I speak fluent feline.

I realize that people have different ways of caring for their pets and structuring their pet's home environment. I try to be mindful of how my client wants things done and, of course, careful about their pet's safety at all times.
