A typical day
If you provide their favorite toys, I will do my best to incorporate it into our play. The activities I incorporate depend on the toy and the length of our walk or run. Typically, this can range from fetch and tug (for dogs) or interactive toys (for dogs or cats). Naturally, your pet's typical day with me is also full of cuddles, snuggles, and belly rubs :)

Pet care experience
I want your pet to feel like they're with a friend, so I go out of my way to build their trust and ensure they have a positive experience. Though not currently a pet owner, I've had several pets throughout my life and have volunteered for both the Humane Society and a wildlife hospital, where I gained experience with administering care and medicine to animals.

Colleen loves animals, especially dogs, & they love her. My anxious, shy rescued Australian Shepherd has always felt comfortable with her from the beginning - they have a real love affair. She doesn’t warm to most people quickly so that’s a big deal. Colleen is also extremely responsible, thoughtful, detail-oriented, organized & loves the outdoors, so she’s sure to take your dog for lots of exercise if that’s what you want. She’s really caring & would do great with older dogs & puppies as well. You & your dog would be lucky to have her as a buddy & dog -walker!
Colleen has taken exceptional care of our dog, Piper. She is attentive, reliable, and genuinely loving. We always have complete peace of mind knowing Piper is safe, happy, and well cared for in her hands.
I am very particular about who comes into my home & watchful how my dog responds to a sitter and/or stranger. My dog is apprehensive around strangers but, right off the bat, it was apparent that Colleen and my dog were going to be best friends. My dog becomes skittish with sounds that she’s not familiar with. She will shy away & disappear under the bed. That has not happened with Colleen. She is intuitive and attentive to my dog’s needs and gives her plenty of cuddles. My dog feels that it is a requirement. I am happy to give Colleen a rave review and grateful to have found a dependable person that my dog trusts and is comfortable with.
