Greetings! My name is Colleen. I’m new to Rover, but my daughter has had a successful Rover business for 4 years in Alaska. I recently visited my daughter and while I was there I had the privilege to join her on some of her dog walks and found it to be a true pleasure, and therapeutic, to meet her clients, love on and walk their pets. What a great experience! I have had pets and farm animals most of my life, and raised my children with animals being treated as family members (probably why my daughter is loving her business with Rover). As you can tell I live in Florida (not Alaska lol). Many years ago I was a foster home for a dog rescue. I have been involved in youth programs that taught kids how to raise pigs and show them at local county fairs. I retired from a 20 year career in healthcare 4 years ago. Since then I’ve been helping with a family business and caring for disabled family members navigating our healthcare system. I’m excited for the opportunity with Rover to be able to provide a service to my clients and their pets during times of need so that your pet gets the love and care they deserve, and you’ll get the peace of mind knowing your pet is being loved and well cared for.
