Base Access&Veterinary Experience🐾

Hi my name is Colleen! I have been around and loved animals my whole life. I offer full-time care and have Vandenberg SFB access. For the past three years, I managed a veterinary practice. Because of this background, I am incredibly familiar with the diverse medical and behavioral needs of dogs, cats, and horses alike! I am a massive dog and cat lover. At home, I have a German Shepherd and a Goldendoodle who get daily walks and endless love. Because I work from home full-time, any animal in my care will receive constant attention and supervision. I am also a very active person, so you can count on your pets getting plenty of playtime and exercise. My home is completely child-free, and visiting pets are absolutely allowed on the furniture to make them feel right at home. Additionally, I live on the military base, making it easy and convenient for me to accommodate both on-base and off-base families. Whether your pet needs high-energy play or have specialized medical needs, they will be safe, active, and loved here!

I have known Colleen for over 6 years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough for anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and truly loving to care for their animals. Her attention to detail with animal care is a 10/10. Beyond her professional experience working at a small animal and equine veterinary clinic, Colleen genuinely loves every animal she meets and treats them with the same care and attention she would give her own. My dogs have stayed in Colleen’s care for up to a week at a time, and they are always so excited to see her. I have a high-energy boxer and a needy (but lovable!) mutt, and she knows exactly how to meet each of their personalities — whether that means long walks, bike rides, playtime on the living room floor, or plenty of couch snuggles. Colleen has also cared for my eventing warmblood for weeks at a time, keeping up with his conditioning while I recovered from surgery. She is fully capable of handling the many details that come with horse care, including exercise routines, bandaging, medications, blanketing, and recognizing changes in behavior or health concerns. Her experience and calm, observant nature gave me complete peace of mind. Colleen is active, dependable, sweet, and incredibly attentive. She provides frequent updates, loves on every animal in her care, and always goes above and beyond. Any pet parent would be lucky to have her caring for their animals!

Amazing with all animals! Very friendly and caring. Has worked with animals her whole life and also has experience working with vets. Looks after pets like they are her own.

Colleen watched our dog while we were on vacation. Our Labradoodle had such a great time and Colleen took great care of her. Would definitely recommend her!

While we were vacationing in Montana last year, we left our doodle with Colleen for a few days. We wanted to visit Glacier National Park and dogs aren’t allowed on trails. We could tell right away when we met Colleen that she loved dogs and all animals. Our fur baby was well taken care of, went on walks everyday and got to play in her yard with other dogs during her stay. Seems like she was really part of Colleen’s family. Colleen sent us updates and even photos of our dog having a great time and cuddling with her. We would definitely leave her with Colleen again and recommend her to anyone who has dogs.
