Your pup(s) will have more fun than you while you’re away on vacation. I provide a private screened in porch for your pooch and house access while home. I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks and off leash play and offer multiple walks and fun during the day. Tennis balls included. Regrettably, I am allergic to cats and cannot provide boarding services.

Our dog had a wonderful time with colin
Colin was great!!! We came into town for our wedding and didn’t want to leave our guy at a boarding facility so we found Colin and our dog had a great time!! Colin was always responsive and sent photos to one of my bridesmaids all weekend as he knew I was going to be crazy busy getting married. Our dog had the best time going on walks, playing with tennis balls, and being a couch potato! Would recommend him to anyone and everyone needing a clean, safe, and playful place to stay!
Our dog loves Colin! He has watched him many times, and our dog is always so excited when he sees Colin and exhausted when he comes home, so I know he has the best time! Colin is great about sending pictures, which is always appreciated when we are away and missing him. I would definitely recommend Colin!
Excited doesn’t describe how pumped our golden retriever, Perry, is whenever we drop him off at Colin’s house or Colin comes to visit our house. Sometimes we think Perry is actually more excited to see his other favorite person, Colin, than he is us. Whenever Perry goes to visit Colin for a weekend or a few hours, we know he’ll be taken on walks, go on hikes, play ball, or get to run around Colin’s really big back yard! Needless to say, Colin is amazing with our dog and is such a loving person in general when it comes to animals. I would highly highly recommend Colin when it comes to caring for anyone’s dogs.

Schedule
I offer boarding services primarily on weekends and holiday breaks. When boarding I plan to spend most of the time at home with your dog(s). I work full time during the week. Meet & greets will have to occur after 5pm during the week. For drop in visits, I’m typically only available after 5pm on weekdays.

Safety, trust & environment
I’ve grown up with dogs in the home since I was a little kid. Always considered them part of the family. I’ll treat your 4 legged friend just as I would a family member. Safety is paramount. Your dog will be kept on a harness & leash when on walks. Please let me know about any behavioral issues beforehand (resource guarding, fear aggression).
A typical day
Your dog(s) will be treated like a spoiled kid while it stays at my home. I grew up having Labrador Retrievers so am experienced in offering lots of physical activity! A tired dog is a happy dog. I typically will go on at least 2 multi-mile walks per day intermixed with games like fetch and hide & seek. For smaller or senior dogs the walks would be reduced to around the block. Your dog will have access to my house while I am home. My preference is for dogs to stay off furniture. Please let me know if your dog is a regular on the couch or bed. At night, and when I am away, your dog(s) will be kept in a private room.

- Communication is key. Please reach out to me ahead of time to discuss any medical, dietary, or behavioral concerns and to coordinate logistics. I like to give out treats, so let me know if there’s any dietary restrictions. For insurance reasons, I am unable to board any pitbull breeds.
