A couple that love looking after dogs!
Hi we are Colin and Cris, British and Spanish. We love to travel and love dogs. We have been living on our 63ft narrowboat on the canals of the UK for the last 5 years and love it. Both of us are graphic designers and work from home so we are 24/7 with the pets. We love to walk and see the countryside as well as being very interested in the history of places. We both have had dogs all our life’s, from Chow Chows to rescue dogs. Our last dog was a french bulldogs, we have had them in the family for over 10 years and have a lot of experience with them. Cris has had all sorts of pets from geckos to miniature rabbits. We live in a marina and are often asked to look after someone’s dog for a day, as well as this we can pack up out office and take it with us, which means that if you need to go away for months we have no problem with that.

We usually have the dogs with us at all times, so if we are working they will be near us in the office area or with us watching tv. I am sorry but we can’t look after any house that has had a cat living in it as Cris is very allergic to them.

Colin and Cris are fantastic. We have just returned from a 2 week holiday overseas and they looked after our 5&1/2 year old Sprocker Eddie. I get concerned about leaving him as he’s a nervous boy as was born during Covid. However Colin and Cris have been amazing with him and so I have been confident while being away that he’s been so well looked after and really happy too. They gave him lots of different walks each day, played with him and gave him plenty of cuddles. We were sent lots of photos and videos while we were away too which was so lovely to receive and so reassuring of how happy Eddie was. I totally recommend Colin and Cris to look after your pets. They are a really lovely couple who look after your dog and their needs incredibly well but also look after your house really well too. We will definitely look to book them again. Very straight forward and worry free experience. His wife and Colin coped with four dogs two of which were dobbies,one of which Bruno very big boy with no trouble.They allowed me to go away with no concerns regarding the care of my dogs which is such a relief for me. I would differently recommend his care and down to earth manner.👍
As previously, Buddy has been so well looked after! You can tell Colin and Cris are really fond of him and his quirky ways and nothing seems to phase them! I was sent photos and videos while I was away which helped me when I was missing him. I would totally recommend Colin and Cris and I am thankful I found them on Rover!
Colin and Chris are amazing ! Our pooches are relaxed and happy while we are away and we never worry about how they are doing. Colin and Chris look after them and love them as if they are their own and we couldn't be happier, thankyou ❤️
Absolutely fantastic. Couldn't wish for better care for our dog. Regular updates pictures of all the fun and walks he has been on. Lovley couple. Would recommend them to anyone
Colin and Cris have just looked after Buddy and he has had a wonderful time. We were kept updated and received photos regularly. Colin and Cris were so good with Buddy who gets very excited and barks when he meets people. I feel that his whole experience with them was a very positive one, I actually think he looked like he was smiling in the photos! Absolutely would recommend Colin and Cris to anyone looking for experienced and loving dog sitters, it took all my worries away! We have already booked for later in the year! Schedule
We have worked from home for the last 20 years, which means we can look after dogs 24/7 as we looked after ours. All we need is somewhere to set up the computers.
