At Deerbrook Petbnb, your pet is treated like family. I’ve been proudly providing trusted, in-home pet care in the community since 2017, with a focus on comfort, routine, and personalized attention. Every pet is unique, and I believe their care should reflect that. You tell me your pet’s routine at home, and I recreate that same experience in my own home—helping them feel safe, relaxed, and right at home while you’re away. Caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s something I take great pride in. By keeping my numbers small (up to 6 dogs at a time, along with cats), I’m able to provide hands-on, one-on-one attention, ensuring every pet receives the love, care, and interaction they deserve. My home is designed with your pet’s happiness in mind. Situated on a beautiful acre-and-a-half property, dogs enjoy at least three 30-minute free-play sessions each day, giving them plenty of space to run, explore, and burn off energy. For additional outdoor time, we also have a spacious 30x30 ft outdoor kennel area where dogs can safely socialize, relax, sunbathe, and play. Cats are just as well cared for, with a dedicated cat room featuring climbing trees, window perches, and wall-mounted jungle gyms to keep them safe, stimulated, and comfortable. At Deerbrook Petbnb, I combine my passion for animals with a commitment to exceptional care—so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands.

Deerbrook pet B&B is has proven to be an amazing find!. We left our dog, Goldie, with the owner, Colin, while on vacation and couldn't be happier. Colin has a wonderfully calming energy, and the location is a beautiful, peaceful nature retreat with plenty of room for our dog to explore and lounge. We loved getting regular updates while we were away. When we picked Goldie up, she kept running back to Colin to say goodbye—she clearly loved her stay! We highly recommend Deerbrook for top-notch pet care.
This was our first time having Colin take care of our two husky Shepherd mix pups, and they had a great time. Colin was very accommodating as we contacted him last minute, and he was welcoming and communicated throughout their day by sending photos and updates. He has a lovely property where the dogs can play outside in a protected fenced large open area, and when it was raining, he sent updates of them having snacks in his kitchen. We would definitely reach out to Colin again in the future!
Colin is great with our dog. She’s had sleepovers there while we vacationed. He also checked in on our cat he’s very friendly and great with our 4 legged ‘children’. Highly recommend Colin. Lots of playtime and snuggles Huge outdoor area for them to run Reliable as well
I've been taking my dog to Deerbrook Petbnb for 5 years now. From daycare to overnight stays, when we get there, it's just like going home for my girl. A lot of play, a lot of love , meeting new friends. Colin is meticulous who gets to come in his pack, no agressive dogs, everybody gets along and plays. When I have to leave my Leilla for a lenght of time, I honestly can enjoy my time away and not worry about how she's doing. Colin gives updates and videos all the time , never any guessing games. I highly recommend ☆☆☆☆☆

Colin has been amazing with my dog, Auggie, from daycare visits to longer overnight stays. His communication is excellent. I always get updates, photos and videos while I'm away, which gives me peace of mind. Colin truly cares about his clients and their pets - he treats the dogs like family. Auggie gets tons of outdoor exercise in a large, safe yard, plays with other dogs, and is genuinely well cared for. The best part is Auggie's reaction when it's time to go to Colin's - he hears his name and can't contain his excitement. I never hesitate leaving him, knowing he's in great hands. Highly recommend.

I run a full-time, in-home pet boarding business, Deerbrook Petbnb, and have been doing so for the past 9 years. Pet care is my primary focus, and my daily schedule is fully dedicated to my clients, their pets, and their individual needs.

A typical day
A typical day at Deerbrook Petbnb is structured, active, and fun. We start the morning with a bathroom break, followed by breakfast based on your dog’s usual routine at home. Maintaining your pet’s schedule is important to me, so I keep things as consistent as possible. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy three 30-minute free-play sessions on our fully fenced acre-and-a-half property—usually in the morning, around midday (12–1 PM), and again in the early evening (5–6 PM). During these outdoor sessions, we play games like fetch, encourage socialization, and provide plenty of space to run and explore. In between playtimes, dogs come inside to relax, socialize, and enjoy a comfortable home environment. I also provide enrichment through basic training, interactive play, and a variety of toys—there’s always a bucket full for them to choose from. In warmer weather, we even set up kiddie pools so they can splash, cool off, and have some extra fun. We finish the day with a final bathroom break around 9 PM before settling in for the night.
