Hi! I’m a former Rover dog sitter and, after taking a break while my kids (now 6 and 8) were very little, I’m available again! I always had dogs growing up and again as a young adult— and in my home, dogs are treated like one of the (human) family members. My wife Jani and our kids love spending time with dogs and we’d make sure yours is comfortable, happy and has plenty of exercise+play. My wife works from home so your pup will have a companion during the day and will get to go on lots of walks! I like to set up a meet and greet prior to your dog’s first stay so that we can meet you and your dog, make sure it’s a fit, and get them acclimated to my home for a bit. Coleman took great care of Cooper while I went away for a long weekend. Cooper was unfortunately injured the day before I dropped him off but Coleman and his wife were excellent in caring for him and providing meds to help him heal. By the time I got back, Cooper was all smiles and tail wags. Would definitely recommend!
Our wheaten terrier loves chasing balls and going for long runs. He'll easily do over 6 miles. Though Coleman lives in an apartment, he managed to throw balls in an enclosed area and went jogging with our dog to his heart's content. He truly had a great time.
This was our first time boarding Paul with Coleman and his wife. They were easy to communicate with, drop off was simple, and Paul had a good time. We will definitely use them again.

Coleman and his wife were kind, flexible, and loving sitters for our odd couple of pit-lab mixes. The elder statesdog, a 15+ yo male, was happy to snooze his days away on their living room floor, and our bouncing babe, a 19 month old girl, loved the exercise and energy of a building full of doggie neighbors. We'll definitely be visiting them again!
Coleman and his wife were great with Bode. We got regular updates and they made sure he was right at home. We'll definitely use them again!

Schedule
I work full time and am usually home 3:30 most days but my wife works full time from home and takes frequent walking breaks during her day. Our kids are in school and participate in a few extracurricular activities each outside of school. We like to spend time at home and outside during our downtime.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a house at the end of a quiet street in the downtown Los Gatos neighborhood. We are surrounded by trees and nature yet can walk to town in a few minutes. We are close to trails and parks and enjoy being outdoors. We can provide multiple walks a day and lots of love. Our kids love to play and cuddle with our furry guests. We are attentive to our guests and show them lots of affection.
A typical day
Walks, hikes, playtime and relaxing on the weekends! We love to walk in our neighborhood and play outside at our house. We want to include your pet as much as possible in everything that we do.
