I am a business owner who works from home, so I'm here all day every day most weeks. My husband is also working from home so there are two of us to watch over your pets. My house has a doggie door, or dogs can be kept inside unless supervised--up to you! My dogs have been free-roaming (not crate-trained) but if you have a crate-trained dog, we can adhere to your structure. We use positive reinforcement and lots of exercise to keep your animals happy!

We have traveled a lot for our careers and for the love of travel, so we understand how important it is to have a trusted place for your pets while you're away. We are happy to give you daily updates and photos so you know your animals are thriving! We have a large fenced yard, a shallow stream for medium/big dogs to play in and a lot of wide-open space. We are right along the Poudre River Trail so walks are very easy. If your dog gets anxious about people walking or riding by, they may not be the best fit since it's a very active trail along CR 54G. We have outdoor shelter for your dogs when the weather is nice, or we can bring them into the house if it's cold/wet out. Our house is fairly dog-proof and we often care for family member's animals when they're out of town. We will work with you to maintain their habits--feeding times, walks, exercise, etc. If they have medications to take or any physical limitations, we can also handle that!

I'm happy to accommodate special needs and medication administration for your pet. I'm still learning how to administer injections, so if your pup needs a daily injection, I may not be the right fit--I have administered subcutaneous saline before, but that's about it. FYI there is a ramp up to our front door if your pup can't do stairs--just let me know!
A typical day
We live right by a bike trail, so morning walks are usually on the schedule. We have a huge paddock for fetch and exploration. If your dog knows any commands, we like to reinforce those with mini training sessions and healthy treats! We use couch covers so if it's okay with your rules, we love to snuggle up with pups for movie night!

Pet care experience
I'm an animal lover through and through. I've cared for puppies through seniors and have a lot of outdoor space for your dogs to enjoy! I have experience with high-intensity breeds like Border Collies and shepherds, and I've also worked as a handler to a celebrity chihuahua--a wide range of dog personalities! I currently have 3 Nigerian Dwarf goat kids on the land. It's a gorgeous place for dogs to run around! I'm experienced and comfortable with administering meds if needed. My husband and I both work from home, so if you have a pup that needs a lot of company, we would be a great fit!

Cole and Michael were wonderful ❤️ They made Neville feel at home, sent us an update and had clear communication. Can’t wait for Neville to hang with them again. It’s means much to have peace of mind when someone is watching the baby!
Cole and Michael were amazing and they have a beautiful property with a large fenced in area! Cole sent us frequent updates and pictures which put our minds at ease while traveling. She also handled it wonderfully when our dog had a minor medical issue during his stay. She was very communicative and kept in contact with us while she took him to his vet. She did a great job administering his medications and kept us updated on how he was doing. We felt so comfortable with them watching our dog and would definitely use them again!
Our dog Penny gets anxious sometimes when being left at new places but loved staying with Cole. She took extra care to ensure our dog was comfortable with walks and attention and Penny seemed like she had a great time.
