Hello! We are Cole and Kayla, homeowners in the Lake Limerick area of Shelton. We are conveniently located on your commute between Hwy 101 and Hwy 3. What sets us apart from other sitters is our hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and a deep understanding of what it takes to care for dogs with high energy and specialized needs. We have raised and trained high-energy hunting dogs, which has given us the skills to handle active breeds that require both physical and mental stimulation. We are very familiar with the importance of consistency, exercise, and patience when it comes to training and caring for these types of dogs. In addition to dogs, We have also taken care of livestock, so we are no strangers to early mornings, structured routines, and being attentive to animal behavior and health. Currently, we are raising a 1-year-old Weimaraner, which has only deepened our appreciation for the energy, intelligence, and quirks that come with certain breeds. We understand how to provide the right balance of discipline and affection, and know how important it is to create a safe, stimulating environment where pets feel secure and loved. Whether it's a playful puppy or a senior dog who needs a little extra TLC, we are confident in our ability to provide personalized, attentive care that fits each pet’s unique personality and needs.

Cole has been around animals for many years. While watching my two dogs, one needing medicine twice daily, He had no issue ad mistering medicine with food and treats. Took my animals for walks and kept them disciplined on the leash and while around the house.

Schedule
We both work full time but often have a lot of weekends/holidays available as well as most evenings after 4:00 PM. We also could be available other days potentially depending on the time of year and work schedules.

Whether we’re caring for pets in our own home or in a client’s, we approach every situation with the same level of respect, responsibility, and love. We treat each home as if it were our own—clean, safe, and respectful of the space—and every animal in our care as if they were a member of our family. In our home, pets have plenty of room to relax, play, and feel comfortable. We allow frequent potty breaks and are happy to take dogs on walks as needed to help them get their energy out and enjoy some fresh air. If a pet is crate-trained or requires crating at certain times, we’re more than capable of accommodating that in a way that keeps them calm and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we maintain their routines as closely as possible, from feeding and medication schedules to walks, playtime, and quiet time. We make sure they feel safe and loved while their family is away, and we treat the client’s home with the same care and consideration we’d expect in return. No matter the setting, our goal is always to provide a stress-free, comfortable, and loving environment where pets feel truly cared for.
