Pet care experience
We love dogs!
We are Colby and Dave, and we love dogs! We know how hard it can be to find someone to take care of your animals while you're away, especially if you have more than one! We have a fully fenced, dog friendly yard! If you decide to let us hang out with your dog, they will be welcomed as another family member. We can't wait to have some new doggie friends! We have 2 dogs, who would be happy to meet your pup, or we can easily keep them apart depending on their needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! We currently cannot take German Shepherds. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. One of our dogs has a hard time with them! Also, if this is your first time checking us out- we try to do a meet and greet before your pet's stay. That way you can see our place and we can meet your dog. Meet and Greet days are Mondays and Wednesdays, and some Saturdays depending on our schedule. Meet and greets happen between 4-6pm (or there is more flexibility on Saturday as far as time), and last about a half hour or so. We can discuss this when you reach out!

Colby and David were so accommodating and flexible with us. Our dogs were well cared for the entire time and we received picture updates daily. So happy to have found Colby and David, and I’m sure we will be using their services again.

This was the first time we have left Emma for an extended stay. It was so reassuring in knowing the caring hands we left her especially in, especially when we found out the day before we were to leave that Emma had an ear infection. Colby and David had to administer medication along with the usual tasks of pet care. We were sent reassuring photos each day. Emma has found her home away from home. Thank you Colby and David
Thank you for taking such good care of Reggie! What impressed me most...how you did the Meet and Greet and introducing a newcomer pup to the rest of your dogs. Live your system of drop off and pick up...makes for a calmer transition.
We got many photo updates and they were very easy to communicate with during drop off and pickup. We would go back to them again!
Stogie was well taken care of and loved. Home away from home!

Schedule
My husband and I both work from home for the most part, and our kids are younger, which also keeps us close to home in this season! We welcome all dogs to hang out with us, just as if they were one of ours!

Safety, trust & environment
Caring for the dogs that come into our home, is extremely specific to each dog. Some dogs require more time to get used to their new surroundings, so we will give them more time to get comfortable, some dogs just settle right in! Dogs are a big part of our life, so they will feel that with us, lots of love, and attention!
Pets
A typical day
If your dog loves to run or play fetch, they will have a great time running around our yard. Our dogs love to run and chase each other. They are happy running with other dogs as well, but are respectful of those dogs that prefer to be left alone! Your dogs comfort is the most important to us!

- Please let us know your dog's feeding schedule, where they like to sleep, and things about them that will make them feel more comfortable while they're here with us! Also, make sure to provide enough food for their stay, their bowls, a dog bed if they use one at home, and a toy if they have a special one they love!
