I spent 12 years in the Marine Corps and decided to change career paths. After I got out I found a different passion which was training dogs. Please read what sets me apart from every one else and if you still have questions afterwards then do not hesitate to reach out to me! -Your pet will have 24/7 supervision and company, if an emergency arises on my end I will immediately reach out to you and let you know, I will never leave your dog unattended because I would not want someone to do it my dog, therefore I always treat visitors with the same respect. -My dog Moxie is seen and treated like one of my kids and yours will be to while under my care! -I will keep in contact at all times and update you on their visit w/photos. -I am a professional dog trainer who does boarding on the side. What this means is that your dogs will have the best care in the area when it comes to their safety and comfort. They will not have any unsupervised play like any of the other day care or boarding facilities around. I take your dog’s mental and physical care seriously. Every interaction they have can have a lasting impact on them for the rest of their life’s.

Scamp didn’t want to leave! Normally when I return from a trip, he jumps into my arms and clings to me. Not this time! He did a quick greet, then took off to play again. I will definitely call Colby again and am absolutely comfortable leaving Scamp in his care.
Absolutely fantastic! Made me feel so at ease leaving my pup with him and he was so happy and cared for when he picked him up after 4 days. Daily pictures and texts with updates- couldn’t be happier with awesome Colby was with our very energetic pup.
We left our 8 month old pug with Colby for 5 days and things went wonderfully! Our dog was well cared for and loved on as if he was part of their family. I was kept updated on his activities throughout his stay and was very pleased with the entire experience. He even did some training with him. Definitely will use again in the future for boarding.
Colby and his family were great caretakers for our pet and we will be using his services in the future! Would recommend them to friends and family.
Colby was great. I could immediately tell he has a true love for dogs and I felt very comfortable leaving Zeke with him and his wife. Colby has a nice home and a fenced in yard with plenty of room for play. He was also very flexible with us. On our way back in town, we ran into a terrible traffic jam that caused us to be an hour late picking up Zeke. Colby was very accommodating about the late pick-uo. My only negative and the reason I didn't rate 5 stars is that on the last couple of days, I didnt get as much communication or pictures. But when I reached out, he was very apologetic and explained the situation. That being said, Zeke was healthy and happy when we picked him up and we would definitely book Colby to watch Zeke again.

A typical day
I have found out that a bored dog is a destructive dog so stimulating them not only physically but mentally as well will do wonders for their growth and behavior! If your dog enjoys being outside I have tons of dog toys, playing fetch, and teaching your dog basic commands that will help pass the time while stimulating them and keeping them engaged. I am very observant of the heat and will make sure that your doggo has plenty of water to drink and a cool place to lay.
