Safety, trust & environment
Whether your pet stays with me or I come to you, I provide the same level of structure, affection, and attention to detail I learned growing up with four Dobermans. In my home, pets enjoy a calm, clean, and safe environment with a predictable routine, enrichment activities, and plenty of supervised indoor/outdoor time—no overcrowding, no chaos, just quality care. In your home, I follow your pet’s established schedule, feeding routine, rules, and comfort preferences so their stress stays low and their confidence stays high. I send regular photo updates, monitor behavior and health cues, and tailor activity levels to each pet’s age, personality, and energy needs. Whether it’s senior meds, puppy socialization, or just keeping a shy dog feeling secure, I treat every animal with the same respect and understanding I grew up giving my own.

Information Colbi C. would like to know about your pet
I will message you before our boarding date, and request any necessary information about your pet. Please let me know all of their habits and bring 1-2 of their favorite toys/comfort items.
A typical day
I make sure every pet gets the right balance of fun, exercise, and mental engagement. For active dogs, that might mean structured walks, fetch sessions, agility-style backyard games, or scent-tracking challenges inspired by the four Dobermans I grew up with. For curious or brainy dogs, I bring puzzle toys, treat hiding games, basic training refreshers, and confidence-building enrichment exercises. For calm or cuddly pets, I offer gentle brushing, quiet companion time, and soothing routines that make them feel safe and loved. Every activity is matched to the dog’s age, personality, and energy level because fun shouldn’t be random, it should be meaningful, mentally stimulating, and tail wag approved.

Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m not just a dog lover—I was raised in a home with four Dobermans, so caring for energetic, intelligent, and protective pups is second nature to me. Whether your dog needs structured play, calm companionship, or a steady hand that understands canine body language and routine, I bring years of real world experience, patience, and genuine affection to every visit. Your dog won’t just be watched they’ll be understood, respected, and treated like family. *I do not accept dogs who are prone to barking, growling, or aggressive behaviors. I also do not accept dogs who are not potty trained.*
Reviews

Colbi generally seems like a lovely person but seemed to have a difficult time managing my dog when he was watching her. It started with me being told there was another dog in the apartment at the time when I dropped her off and that he didn’t know if that dog was okay with other dogs. He did say he would keep them separated but this was a little surprising to hear upon arrival. After that, he didn’t allow me to drop my dog off in the apartment and instead had me leave her at the elevator with him and my dog was forced to watch me walk away from her as she was pulled into the elevator. This caused what sounded like about 36 hours of crying and devastation in my dog who has never minded being left with a sitter (and is a quiet dog 99% of the time). The issue here was that it seemed like Colbi was overwhelmed with the behavior and although he was communicative letting me know she was howling, it didn’t seem like he had a plan to comfort her and it seemed like he may have been reaching out for solutions from me. I was really devastated at how upset my dog was and really thought about having someone come get her because he indicated she was so sad and wasn’t improving. This is beyond out of character for my dog. With such a tumultuous start to the visit, I would have hoped for very proactive communication on how she was doing and daily photos (as noted in Colbi’s description), but I received two photos over an 8 day stay and if I wanted an update I had to reach out first. I think Colbi was just overwhelmed with my dog and how upset she was to watch herself be “abandoned”, but this was just a bit of a tough stay for me. It sounded like he went running with her sometimes which is fun and he fed her her flea meds on time to my knowledge. 👍🏻
Colbi C. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.
