As the husband of our longtime dog trainer and boarder, we have first hand experience with Cody as he is a partner in her business in every sense of the word. His love and care for the animals (and their humans) is without question. I joke that our dogs love Cody more than they love us…every time they see him, they vocalize w excitement, and when they leave him, they stare longingly until he’s out of sight (we get no such treatment). We have one very senior dog who is deaf, and also has a history of spine issues and shouldn’t take stairs. He lovingly carries him up and down stairs (yes, he pretends Kermit is an airplane). Cody also keeps a careful eye to ensure he doesn’t get himself injured when he’s playing w his much larger little brother. Our other dog is a puppy who had a rough start and is one of the most anxious dogs our trainer has ever worked with. Cody patiently worked w him and earned his trust. He truly has a way w animals and has learned from the best! His narrated videos of our pups are often the highlight of our day when we are away from them. He is absolutely hilarious and has their personalities, quirks and preferences down! We’ve had some horrific experiences in the past w pet sitters and boarding; you will NOT go wrong w Cody.

Cody has trained and cared for our dog for 4 years. He is an experienced trainer who really understands dog behavior and he communicates with them beautifully. Dogs trust and love him. He uses positive reinforcement and he is very calm assertive pack leader. Our dog loves him dearly, and I know yours will too. I highly recommend Cody!

Cody is an awesome pet sitter and what makes him awesome is he loves my dog and other dogs as if they are his own. My dog Zoey is always so excited to see Cody and I know she is so well cared for when I am out of town and when she sees him for day care. I trust him whole heartedly and it is such a relief to me that I know Zoey is having fun and being so well cared for. He is the Best!

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Cody S . as a dog walker. For the past four and a half years he has been caring for my dog in daycare and boarding Bleu is definitely a member of their family when he’s with Cody. There was a period of about six months when we did not see one another but when he saw Cody again, he was so happy that he just melted into him. He truly loves Cody, but more so he has a deep bond and respect for him. Bleu and I could not be more pleased with the level of care, compassion and professionalism provided. Bleu can be challenging at times, he’s sweet as can be but extremely loud and vocal and has had more than his share of health problems , but Cody always handles him with incredible patience and expertise. I am always kept updated with clear communication and photos from their daily adventures.
