I paid Cody $950 to house sit my 2 dogs for one week. Since he lived so close, and sleeping in someone else’s bed isn’t everyone’s favorite, I was kind enough to give him the option to spend the night or not. I was also extremely clear when he came to meet the dogs and go over procedures, that if he chose not, he’d at least spend a couple of extra hour(s) with them. Again, he was paid to HOUSE SIT. While I was away, I was caring for my mother with 4 broken ribs. When I saw the notification that he had arrived at my house for each walk via my Ring doorbell, I didn’t ever consider it to be my responsibility to babysit the babysitter. Upon coming home and having a chance to go over the Ring footage to see exactly how much time he spent on their walks to calculate how much I was going to tip him, I was shocked to see that the longest Cody had spent at my house from the moment he arrive to the moment he left was 20 minutes. Most were 15. Yes, in that time he also walked them, barely. Cody spent 45 minutes at my house everyday. Even if I were to round up, my dogs were alone for 23 hours a day. He spent 7 hours (again, that’s rounding up) with them over the course of a week. My dogs are 10 and 6 years old and do not have accidents. There was pee all over my bed. My dogs suffered. My dogs were neglected. When I asked Cody he said to his “recollection” he was there for 1.5 hours total each day (as if that’s any better) and then once I told him I had accurate time stamps that proved otherwise he stopped responding. Cody took advantage of my kindness and was paid a staggering $135 an hour. This is currently being escalated further for neglect after Cody decided the appropriate and fair solution was to refund $100. If you want to be completely taken advantage of and your dogs treated like goldfish, this is your guy.

Cody has been great with our older dogs, very thoughtful, reliable and a good communicator. Highly recommended!
