Hi, we’re Cody and Emily of Reno-Tahoe Paw Retreat! We’re licensed, insured, and trained in pet first aid and CPR. We follow Washoe County commercial animal welfare permit guidelines, including sanitation programs, a veterinary care program, and a disease control health care program. Your pets are in safe, caring hands with us.

Friendly and adaptable, I had to change both begin and end times with no qualms. Photo updates always showed Winter content.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Our dogs stayed for 10 days, and from the moment we dropped them off, we felt completely at ease. Cody and Emily were wonderful, caring, and attentive, and the regular pictures and updates showed us just how happy and comfortable our dogs were. Seeing their smiling faces and all the great pictures throughout our vacation truly took all our worries away and allowed us to completely relax and enjoy our time away. It was such a relief knowing they were having just as much fun as we were! They also had the best company with Kiko, the host dog, who was absolutely wonderful, along with the other dogs staying for boarding or enjoying their time in daycare. It was clear that the dogs were having a fantastic time together in a safe, happy, and loving environment. We picked up two very happy dogs, and that says everything! We are incredibly grateful for the care, attention, and love they received. We would absolutely recommend Cody and Emily, and will definitely be booking again!
I really likes Cory & Emily when I met them. I like that they have a dog so Red has a playmate if he's the only one there. They have a lovely home and great backyard for dogs to play. You can tell they love animals. Will use them again.
Cody & Emily are great! They went above and beyond with caring for my pup. Easy communication. Great updates throughout the stay. And their home is clean, spacious and beautiful. All together, the experience was comfortable and easy. I felt very secure my pup was in good hands 💗.

Schedule
Living with our own Australian Shepherd means pet care is already woven into everything we do. Your dog will enjoy a natural mix of scheduled walks and feeding times, plus plenty of spontaneous play sessions, cuddle breaks, and backyard adventures in between. With one of us always nearby, we’re able to respond to whatever your pup needs, whenever they need it! no waiting, no rushing. It’s just part of our normal day. 🐾

When it comes to your dog’s safety and comfort, we’ve got it covered. Our large, fully fenced backyard gives your pup plenty of room to run, explore, and burn off energy, all in a secure environment where you never have to worry about them wandering off. Inside, your dog will have a spacious home to relax in, and with my wife or I here almost around the clock, they’re never left alone or unsupervised. You can rest easy knowing there’s always someone attentive nearby. We’re also proud to have a pet friendly Australian Shepherd of our own, so your dog will have a built in buddy to play with! Our Aussie is well socialized and loves making new friends, making the transition to our home stress free and fun for visiting dogs. From the moment your pup arrives to the moment you’re reunited, their safety, happiness, and comfort are our top priority. 🐾
