I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so you could definitely say I’m a bit of a dog person (although my cat would probably argue that point!). I grew up in a household full of animals, from big German Shepherds to tiny Pomeranians, and have always loved everything that comes with having pets around — the walks, the cuddles, the muddy paws and, of course, the inevitable hair absolutely everywhere! My love for cats has grown over the years too, and I’m now a proud owner of both a dog and a cat — my Shiba Inu, Peach, and my little moggy, Puddin. Between them, I’ve definitely learnt that every animal has their own personality, quirks and very strong opinions! I’m comfortable caring for all different breeds and sizes of dogs and cats, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal and figuring out what makes them tick. Whether they want a long walk, a game of fetch, some attention or simply to curl up beside me and pretend I don’t exist, I’m more than happy to go along with it. For me, looking after animals isn’t just a job — it’s something I genuinely love doing.
