Dog and walking daft!!
I’ve always had a family dog but since moving back into my flat I’m not able to have one of my own just yet. I often keep my mums cockapoo (Fergie) and I love dogs in general. They are the best company for walks and cuddling up on the couch. I understand not all dogs are the same and I find it rewarding creating a calm environment for them whilst their family is away. I work in a dog friendly hair salon so they would be welcome to come in with me on days that I am working, if that suited them. I work for myself so I have gaps in my diary after every client to take them for a spin around the meadows and a designated lunch break. I have a strong understanding of being able to read a dog and keeping them safe and happy is my main focus!

Codie is an absolute gem! She is a true dog lover, incredibly attentive, and deeply caring. She always ensures that our Cockapoo, Fergie, has her routines followed perfectly. Codie is highly reliable, communicates brilliantly, and always sends us lovely little updates. Fergie absolutely loves her walks and sleepovers with Codie—she is always excited to go and comes back home happy, relaxed, and calm. We couldn't ask for a better dog walker!
Codie’s mother here. She has helped us look after all our dogs and understands the needs of all different breeds. We have had many. She truly is at her happiest with a furry friend!

Schedule
I’m currently only working 3-4 days per week in a dog friendly salon. All dogs are welcome! I have plenty time to walk dogs in between clients as I work for myself.

My mums dog Fergie is allowed wherever she pleases in my house but I’m am strict when it comes to bed time that they know where they are sleeping. Be that in the livingroom on the couch or in our room in thier bed. Sometimes I give in to them sleeping with me but I know we all get a better sleep in our own beds
A typical day
I love going on different walks all around the city to coffee shops, beaches, the hills and round all the different parks! The occasional pub visit at the weekends 🍺
