Dogs staying at Dayna’s Doggy Retreat are cared for in a safe, loving home environment where they are treated like part of the family. I keep routines as close to home as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest, to help dogs feel relaxed and comfortable during their stay. Dogs receive daily exercise, enrichment activities, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection and supervision throughout the day. I only take one families dogs at a time so each dog gets personalised attention and care. I have experience caring for puppies, energetic dogs, senior dogs, and dogs that may need a little extra patience or reassurance. I always aim to provide a calm, stress-free environment where dogs can settle in happily and safely. Regular updates, photos, and communication are provided for owners so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

The more information you can provide, the better I can ensure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy during their stay. I welcome friendly, well-socialised dogs that are comfortable around people and can settle in a home environment. For the safety and wellbeing of all pets in my care, I ask owners to be honest about any history of aggression, excessive anxiety.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy a relaxed, home-from-home experience with plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. Mornings start with a walk and breakfast, followed by playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of cuddles. Throughout the day, dogs have regular opportunities for exercise, toilet breaks, and supervised interaction, along with quiet time to rest and recharge. I tailor each dog's routine to their individual needs, energy levels, and preferences, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and happy during their stay. Evenings include another walk, dinner, and plenty of relaxation before settling down for a peaceful night's sleep. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to make their stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. 🐾

So happy I've found Dayna's Doggy Retreat, Codie looks after my puppy Reggie (Jack Russell) and he absolutely adores her! He loves his daycare days and overnight stays, I have absolutely no concerns when I leave Reggie with Codie, and know he is well cared for and is having the best time with her. He always comes back tired and fulfilled from his adventure filled days.
