Pet care experience

Neuroscience PhD student loves dogs

I have always had a special affinity towards dogs! My mom adopted a German shepherd puppy the week I was born and since then I have lived with dogs my whole life! My family currently has a German short haired pointer that I helped raise and call my brother!

Coby did a great job with Evie! He was responsive and communicated well before and during the stay. Evie enjoyed her stay and returned home as chill and happy as could be!

Coby is a wonderful dog sitter who has taken great care of my sweet girl plenty of times while I'm away on work trips. He is always very timely, responsive, and responsible, and my dog is always so excited whenever we pull up to his house! I know they have a great time together :) You can tell how much he loves dogs and he takes care of them as if they were his own. Thank you Coby for what you do!

Coby is incredibly responsible and attentive. Having seen how detail-oriented he is in professional settings, I know he would bring that same level of care and love to looking after any pet. I highly recommend him as a reliable caregiver!

Schedule

I work a neuroscience PhD, and although it’s hard work, it allows for a very flexible schedule! I live right by campus, so going from work back to home for a pup is super easy! I have most weekends and afternoons free.

Safety, trust & environment

I always treat a dog I haven’t met with as much care as my own! However, I always approach new dogs with caution and a keen eye for signs of trouble or causes for concern. I understand the value of quickly establishing boundaries and a hierarchy between myself and a dog. It’s okay to give a pup a firm “no” when they need it (maybe followed by a good butt scratch or two)
